Stupid question, but is the effect here the changing of the prediction? I'm just trying to think past a brain fart, can this be used surreptitiously in an effect behind the scenes? Or I guess you'd have to make the change the centerpiece as that's the whole point, right?

Obviously I could just force a card with a note predicting it, the main thing here is the (awesome) change. I like this idea, just wondering how much leeway with other effects there are to expand on the main idea (a magical change in itself).

Lastly, anyone know if available from a dealer in the states?

I ordered it directly from Mark. https://www.jbtvusa.com/ By the way, love the idea of using the deck with all the same cards. Wonder if that deck is supplied....

I love those ‘post it in trouble’ effects.

For me, when Mark Mason comes out with something new, it's almost a no-brainer about whether to purchase. With just a few exceptions, of course, I pretty much always love JB Magic stuff.
And I'm a fan of Danny Weiser's stuff as well. This looks pretty good. Oh, and I agree, using a deck of same cards is a great option!

His 'cigarette thru card' was a big exception.

Love Mark’s material, but it seems as though the card box is getting burned. The rectangle drawn on the Post-It just appears a little too suspicious and maybe contrived ... I’m I over thinking this?

@rosariorose9 a deck is not supplied - just the "duly noted" gimmick

Interesting, given that Murphy's indicates that it is available in either red or blue. https://www.murphysmagic.com/search.aspx?f=119. A 'tell' as to the method? Smile

I'm sure they are referring to the card case as far as color choice. But given the emphasis of using a one-way force deck in the demo I'm kind of surprised they don't include one. Not that I really care. I'd probably use one of my own anyway. I guess they figure that is true for most of us.

But to be honest, I'm just not lovin' this effect anyway.

Looks like a kind of OTLP applied to a card box.

Here is an idea.

Buy this and do it over the weekend at several events, on several groups of people and you will see how amazing it is.

People are not interested in the card box.

They are interested in YOU the performer, the chosen card & the entertainment you are bringing to the effect.

Then as a finale, they are interested & shocked at the post it note which they are holding as the prediction has changed while you are shaking it.

With some mechanical finesse I would add.
It seems like a meh to me.
