Hi videoman - yes I regularly perform a one man theatre show and the chair test is part of the show. It’s already plays well but these would enhance it for sure, but feel that I could invest £200 elsewhere to add to the show. It’s a personal thing really isn’t it, so no right or wrong answer buddy. I also appreciate that it’s very unlikely that suppliers will offer a multiple discount as there would then be the possibility of the buyer reselling them and making a small profit. Hey ho

I wondering how this improves on Scott Creasey's Empty Multiple Out Envelope.

I just wondering if their instruction provide some stage routines using this Switch-A-Lope. I said stage because the size of this envelope should only be working for stage condition.

As although it's empty... you need to show it [and he explains in the video how to do that] as you take out the contents This one - the spec takes the contents out... and the envelope is then empty and they can keep it Obviously they can't keep Scott's - as they would find more than an ordinary empty envelope Basically the 'magic' happens in different places The advantage of Scott's is - it's 'just an envelope' - there's no food board.... This one looks much better to me... for me personally |

I'm not sure they can keep the envelope with the Switch-a-lope. The description and review says that you hold the envelope while they take it out. I am assuming there is a reason you don't just hand them the envelope....

Sorry if I was wrong
I presumed the signed envelope was clean - and the magic happened ..... and that's why there was a food board thing....... I don't have this If they can't keep the envelope Then.... well - scotts version may be better [for stage/parlour] I was just so sure they could keep this envelope - and that was the 'wow' factor If they can't.... can someone explain to me - what it is that makes this better than Scotts [not method, but what's different/better] |

I don't know for sure as it hasn't been released yet, but from the demo it looks like the envelope looks unquestionably empty as the participant takes out the prediction.
I think this is going to be like so many props - it will probably have some advantages and disadvantages. Scott's is really good, there's no doubt.

Spectator could not handle the envelope. They only can withdraw the prediction from the envelope and the envelope looks empty.

Mee too!
So far there has been only one good and useful video review by DavidKenney. Where are the rest hiding?

I would not ruin these envelopes with anyone's signature.
The envelops are gimmicked and can not be handed out or kept, but the spectator can draw the prediction out themselves There is no ditching involved - in fact the envelope removed from the front window never leaves your hands once you remove it. What else do you want to know? |

Sorry, but now I have one query please. If given a choice, which method would one prefer - Scott Creasey's 'The Empty Multiple Out Envelope' or Arnaud's 'SWITCH-A-LOPE'? IMO, both the above named envelopes enjoy the same advantages & limitations. And since both these envelopes can not be handed out, I would continue to prefer the Piatt Envelope for my own personal reasons which allows the spectator to handle the Piatt Envelope, cut open and remove the prediction themselves (this IMO is a big advantage) but certainly they can't keep the envelope. Handling of the Piatt Envelope by the spectator can be done with my modified Piatt envelope.

For what it is worth... I had sent Max Maven a sample for review.
Max just came back to me stating: “Switch-a-lope is clever and practical; a useful addition to the arsenal of tools for mentalism” At least another 10 samples are out with reviewers and hopefully we will hear back from them soon! Over 50% of the stock has been reserved so far! Thanks all for your positive feedback! |
