Small review. So far I am loving the wallet and it is my everyday go everywhere wallet. The look and feel of the leather is fantastic and I especially love the blue threading. I am noticing the leather settle in and look an appropriate amount of worn which is no big deal. In terms of the load it does take some getting used to and you will definitely want to practice. I generally walk around putting credit cards or playing card in and out. I have successfully perform with it in the front pocket of a pair of tight jeans. It was tough and took a little bit of fumble but managed it. In a jacket it is much more easier and smoother but I wanted to challenge myself.
I find the ease of reset amazing and can absolutely be done in front of spectators. I would say the only issue I have potentially had is related to the bonsalopes. I had carried one in position for a day before using (might have been two). When I went to perform it did not seal correctly even though I exerted pressure. It could be I just didn't push enough or fact it sat there in a warm pocket reduced its effectiveness. I will experiment more there. Overall I am extremely pleased and as a fan of all wallets this is an absolute keeper. Prior to this my everyday wallet was a Bellroy which, if you know the brand, is an exceptional wallet. The rebel wallet has now replaced it and will serve as my everyday regardless if I Am performing or not. For me that's the highest praise I can give. You can absolutely use this everyday and as a side benefit perform and astonish your audiences! |

I've found the quality of Bonsalopes to be hit and miss recently. They seem to skimp on the amount of glue applied to some batches. I always apply my own rubber cement before going out to perform just to make sure they seal correctly. Somewhat annoying given the price. Maybe someone from PropDog could comment?

Propdog Bonsalopes are a hit and miss... unfortunately.
You need to put more rubber cement in them so they can perfectly work. Hope someone from Propdog can comment about it. |

I just want to echo what’s already been said about this wallet. If you want a smart stylish wallet to perform card in envelope, you can do no better than this. Solid product all the way around.

2 questions...
Does anyone know how this compares to the Quiver C2W? (Probably not because that one isn't shipping yet, but there are often beta testers who may know) Can the Rebel PEEK wallet hold a stack of maybe a dozen business cards comfortably within any of the pockets? |

I’ll skip the first question as I don’t like to compare items I have not handled.
The peek wallet has a total of 6 pockets, you can hold upto 4 cards in each? I personally only hold 2 in each as I prefer a slim wallet. Hope this helps! Regards G |

My Rebel wallet arrived today. I’m in magic heaven, what with Bliss and this being released recently. Both are top quality, professionally produced items. Both will find a permanent place in my repertoire I’m sure.

For now all I can say is, keep an eye on my website www.secrettanney.com for more releases.
I intend to introduce more projects over time, all keeping in line with the standard to date! |

Hey guys. So Ger is a very good friend of mine, an excellent magician and just a very humble and thoughtful guy.
He’s put a huge amount of time and thought into this. Seriously. I mean it. He’s a total perfectionist and he’s very clear on what he likes and what he doesn’t. This wallet was designed with all of his priorities and preferences in mind without compromise. Ger’s not really capable of compromise. Everything has to be just right. The results have the following features and benefits 1) It’s beautiful. Soft leather that’s just way beyond anything else we’ve seen for magic wallets and is even exceptional for a designer wallet. 2) Super slim and simple. I’ve been using it as my everyday wallet for a couple of years. 3) Perfectly sized for bonselopes. 4) Reset right in front of the spectators. Crucial for a working pro 5) Wallet can be removed from the pocket and instantly handed to a spectator. They themselves, open it up and find the envelope inside. I remember showing Quentin Reynolds and even knowing it was a CTW he couldn’t see how the card could get in. Very funny to watch the puzzlement. 6) No zippers or fumbling. It’s very smooth, reliable, clean, natural and contemporary. |

I’m really starting to like this. (Like I need another card to wallet though.) Does it hold cash? It looks like it’s just designed for credit and business cards.

I deliberated and deliberated over this. Did I need ANOTHER wallet. I think I own ten already. But I went ahead and ordered. Not having much knowledge of this wallet,Steve’s review really helped me. I’m so glad I bought. This will be my wallet of choice. It works like a dream. Looks quality. And natural. The accompanying download packed with advice. I will definitely use it. And I will definitely buy another as a spare. The load of card works very smoothly. And the load of envelope diabolically simple. Thank you Gerard.

Does the peek wallet come with a video showing Gerard performing in the real world, similar to the video provided with the Rebel wallet? A lot of the value I got from the Rebel wallet purchase was seeing Gerard using the wallet live.
