I'm looking for a good 4-way out wallet and was wondering what would be recommended that's on the market. Thanks!

I'm curious too to hear about such a wallet. Not sure if it fits your needs but when needed 4-ways for instance for a pmodified version of Maven's Armchair Athlete, a normal 2-way wallet with a 2-way envelope in each side worked perfectly.

You really don't need any specially made wallet for a 4-way out. Take a off the rack billfold wallet and you'll find it has plenty of places to put four outs. Harry Robson takes a fairly standard wallet and uses the money compartment and paper money to load several outs. The bills effectively hide the item (playing card or billet) until it is taken out. I've taken an off the shelf leather wallet and loaded Kolossal Killer into it. No problem.

If you absolutely want to buy a wallet to act as an "out" assist then you might look at the Stealth Assassin Wallet (Peter Nardi's brilliant utility tool of a wallet) it is an act in a small package. It is more an index than an "out" but the index can be used as an multiple out given the right presentation and handling.

Or you might look at the more traditional billfold type in the "Heirloom Wallet" (designed for more than 4 outs). The Heirloom Wallet was specifically designed to be a multiple out wallet.

Finally you could look at the "Infinity Wallet" another Peter Nardi prop. The Infinity Wallet is multifunction (index, peek, card to wallet) but has a multiple out design feature.

All that said for only 4 outs I'd simply stick with a standard, inexpensive, off the shelf billfold.

Thanks very much for your thoughts and information Harry, it is very helpful. My main goal is to be able to switch one envelope for another, from a bank of 4 stored in the wallet. I'll check in to those that you mentioned to see if they work. Again, I appreciate your thoughts.

Always happy to hear from others with any other info also.

The ideal would be to have a spectator holding the wallet from the beginning and have the spectator open the wallet to remove and then open the envelope containing the desired outcome. This could reduce your need to a two-way out wallet with two two-way out envelopes. The spectator sees only one wallet, one envelope and one outcome.

If you want 4 outs you could have 1 in one section of the Himber wallet, which you openly show at the start as a prediction (at the same time letting audience see without any room for doubt that there is nothing else in the wallet), while the other 3 are hidden in the other section. When you get the result, if the out you want is the one in the first section then you're all set. If however it's one of the others you open the wallet in the other section without showing the inside and simply take out the correct envelope. Since you've made a big show originally that there is only one prediction envelope, it will naturally be assumed to be the one you showed originally.

Not the most elegant solution, but not unworkable either if you're stuck for other methods or wallets.

Way back in 2009, there was a discussion on a Four Way Wallet, in the Tricks and Effects topic.

I suggest you read the entire reference before jumping into buying a wallet, seems someone made inferior copies.

From that topic, I guess you are looking for what is called, the Miller Miracle Wallet for $135.00.

Found one version here: https://tricksupply.com/product/miller-miracle-wallet/

Ditto to Mr. Murphy's every word. I use and have been overwhelmingly pleased with the "Heirloom Deluxe" wallet. It's got more "Outs" than the Mayberry jail! It also has a very well thought out "Flash Empty" feature that is a great seller. I actually carry the "Heirloom" effect AND KK in the same wallet at the same time with it still being virtually flat and empty looking! Highly recommended and thanks to the folks at Alakazam for a WONDERFUL tool. The flash empty feature absolutely leaves them with their mouth open!
