Hi guys. I was wondering if someone could help direct me to a place to purchase a strong magnetic quarter that was a state quarter.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hiya Matt,

You might have to get one of these from a craftsman, like Kueppers. Most that I've seen are the old quarters, or they are steel core quarters. But you should be able to have one made for what you need easy enough, or perhaps put out a call for it in the want-ad section here.

Has anyone ever seen one made from a state quarter?

I asked Craig Filicetti who sells them. He said out of all 75 that he had, all were just the old versions. I thought this was weird.

So it seems Roy is a no go. Ive tried contacting him via email and Facebook.

Any other suggestions on where to find one of these?

I have one in both an eagle quarter and a state quarter so they do make them in the state quarters. Interestingly, a couple years ago I was trying to find an eagle mag quarter it was harder to find one in the older quarter, so just the opposite of what your experiencing.

Tango makes them, it just depends on what type they happen to have in stock.
Post in the magic for sale asking for one. If that doesn't work call Johnson Products (626-445-1411) and ask if they have any or how soon until they will.

If you are in the US and your cell phone company charges for calls to Canada, get a google voice number and call. The phone is the best way to get a hold of him.

Also call Johnson coins. They will do some custom work.

I just called Johnson and no luck. She said they wont be making anymore for quite some time :/
