I will be performing at a craft beer grand opening which will be held at a restaurant.
It’s not a sit down meal. Just finger food similar to a cocktail hour setting. There will be no bottles or beer caps. Just glasses. Draft craft beer. I already have a list of my sets but I would like to include 2 or 3 beer themed tricks. I will go there tomorrow to look at the restaurant and look at their glasses and mugs. Perhaps "Exquisite" (levitation) may work if the glasses are the right shape. Does anyone have any ideas that doesn’t include bottles, caps, airborne beers. Thanks in advance.

Hm, here in Germany where draft beer is served there are always coasters. Usually made out of thick paperstock and branded. If this is true at your gig, you may be able to device some card effects to them. Think of coasters across. Just like the other guy did on P&T with sliced chest.
Hope this helps, Markus |

Ups, can't edit the posts anymore, so here's the triple. Ask your client about promotional material. Maybe they have matchboxes, pens or anything else with their logo you can use.

Greg Wilson has a great $20 found in a beer coaster trick. I think it's on his On The Spot video.
I did it for a friend and he still talks about it years later (hi SM)

Greg did the coaster trick saying that beer companies are putting $10 bills in coasters as a promo. Everyone in the bar including the bartenders were tearing up all the coasters. Then he did the trick where he figures out the pin to a phone. The person he did it to was freaking out because Greg took it to another level. The spec thought all his bank accounts were compromised. The police were actually called. What a night.

$10 ?
That sounds half as good as the one he did at our lecture.

Jiggernaut is a great routine that can be related to alcohol consumption.

Jiggernaut is a good one.
Unfortunately I never learned cups & balls. I’ve been meaning to learn it but it looks like a commitment. Perhaps after things in my life get back to normal.

I once saw Japan's Mr. Maric change water into beer. Unsure if it is original to him. Part of his presentation had dried hops or barley being waved over water. Also some shaking of the glass. Sorry if it isn't very helpful.
