I don't have small hands nor do I have a problem performing with/manipulating standard sized cards, I just like the feel of bridge sized-cards a little better. I also like designer/specialty designs like those from Ellusionist like the Ghost decks and such. But I don't see really any bridge-sized cards like that.
Bicycle does have custom printing options, but I don't think they offer bridge-sized cards, at least at quantities of 100 or less. Other sites do have full customization of bridge-sized cards, but that would require me to put in all 54 designs plus the backs of whatever design I wanted. I also couldn't guarantee they would have a good finish. And further, I'm pretty sure using the design of a deck like the ghosts would be copyright infringement. IF I could get my hands on a bridge-sized bicycle ghost deck, I would buy one in a heart beat. Any recommendations or suggestions? Should I just suck it up and use regular sized cards? |

I use both regular and bridge size depending on what I am doing but I have but admit that most of the time I use Poker or Standard Size decks...
Card manufacturers don't seem to make bridge size designer decks much, I am guessing that it is because they don't sell as well. The companies that do make bridge size decks mostly make the backs in "cutesie" patterns like flowers, kitties, seashells etc...Funny enough, I am told that most casinos use bridge size cards for their gaming but again they most likely would use custom printed decks with their logo on them .. There is a company called Kem Cards that has a small selection of bridge size decks with different back designs but I have never used them. Da Vicni is an Italian company that makes some different designs, Copag does also but they are expensive... I like to buy old decks that either show a particular place on the back, or are from out of business companies like TWA, Pan American Airlines, or old rat pack casinos that are now gone like the Desert Inn, Sahara. If you look around you can find them...Currently the only Bicycle made bridge size cards are their standard Rider Backs. At one time they did have some in the Bee brand but those haven't been made for a while now. So if having a real specialty design from a legitimate company, like the Ghost Decks, is important to you then you are probably not going to find them..but you may want to check out some of the ones I mentioned to see if the designs are of any interest. Am I the only one missing the Aviator Bridge size cards? There was a time, not so long ago, when every pocket trick was made in Aviator bridge. FaKo cards were also in that format. I wish they were still being made.
