I received mine and I am really happy with this. Quality surpassed expectations, especially with regards the box. I wasn't really expecting a box but the design helps corroborate the story of what these cards are. My cards had a slight bend in, which is a minor irritation, but nothing that cannot be easily remedied so no big deal.
I've not really looked at the effects in detail but for fun tried a very basic, selection, control and peak before going through a bit of chat to arrive at what they selected and it went down so well and so much better than the same effect would have gone over with regular cards. The pictures give you loads of scope to make up all sorts of pseudo explanatory nonsense which I quite enjoy. Overall I'd highly recommend. |

THis plays very well in to that approach. |

This is very well done.
My biggest concern about the back design was alleviated. The box was a great surprise as well. I'm looking forward to giving his PMOOTW a try.

I received The Gallery yesterday and Marc and Alakazam have done a great job.
As others have mentioned, the box is excellent. Also I was greatly impressed with the range of ideas and videos given. I have only just started to watch but have already found a ruse I will definitely be using. When I ordered the set, I had thoughts of the main principle behind The Gallery, but I was wrong in this. And I was rather pleased I was as a strength of what is supplied would have been compromised. (I am being a bit cryptic here.) The Gallery is a very solid and practical release and can be used in numerous ways. Highly recommended. Neil |

Is this language dependant? Does "The Gallery" basic principle apply only in English?

I like the idea ,the looking of the photos and how this deck has multiple applications . IMHO this looks more organic than reading minds with playing cards.
Is there any performance videos of some effects?

Ordered 2 of these recently and still waiting for their arrival from across the pond. Always takes awhile to make the long journey to the states.
Looking forward to receiving them as I love the idea and it sounds from posts and reviews that the manufacture of these has been first rate. But I would expect nothing less from Mr. Nardi and company. |

So far Autochromatopsia (an Out Of This World effect) and Apparition (a spooky effect) are my favorites, but there's not a loser in the bunch yet, and I've seen about half of the videos. Everything is pretty darn easy to do- it's almost all presentation, with a small bit of memorization (Can you remember 5 images of the cards? You're good.) for some, but not all, of the effects, which is something that I'm very good at. You can probably adapt quite a few effects that you do with regular playing cards to this deck. They're playing cards with photographs, after all. There are also 40 minutes of F**cing videos, and 20 minutes of *****r*l videos, most of which I already knew, but Marc has some good subtleties on my known ones. Please do not buy this- I don't want you to have any of my good stuff. Buy "Cutting Paper With Rocks" instead.

Hmmmm, for some reason I can't get "*****r*l" to print up above with only 2 stars, and they added another extra star letter.
It's not a bad word, although the first part of the word kind of sounds like one when you say it, and it's a common thing in magic, but yet The Café keeps altering my desired word. It starts with "Con" and ends with "rol", and there's another letter in the middle of those two sections. They allowed me to do "F*rc*ng" with no problem. Do I really need to star those two things out?

Hello everyone. Personally this type of ad really annoys me. No real description, no effects, and no differentiators.
“Allows you to create interesting plots...” Uhhh... ok? Can someone kindly inform us if this is any different than a mentalist symbolist pack, Osterlinds’ ODDS, etc? Is it a stack of photos or something more? And how so? Purchasers like myself don’t care about the secret, I just want to know what I’m buying. Thanks. |
