Hi everyone, I used to perform some standard patter with a hopping half set but there’s some great advice on patter that I’ve read by Neal Austin (Sealegs) and others in various posts. Advice that has to do with not describing every action you are making and patter that might insult the intelligence of your audience or make the magician look like they are just trying to look clever. The type of attitude that supports that old Seinfeld joke/perception of some magicians. Anyway, here’s an attempt to get less descriptive (although the descriptive bits are in there deliberately) and try and tell a bit of a story. I’ve dedicated this one to my beautiful wife! It uses a hopping half set and one other gaff. Any criticism or advice on how I can improve my handling or presentation and patter would be appreciated🙂

It's fun to see a new take on something all of us perform. Finding another presentation makes the trick seem fresh. I really enjoyed your video. The only advice I can think of is to take your time. When you say, "OK, I'LL do it again.". The specs need a moment to process the fact that you have two coins when you should have one. Very entertaining.
