Hey, guys! Couple of new card things. Someone else can post a link if they like. (Trying to play by the rules.)
BLACKJACK BUFFET is a twist on the classic Poker Player's Picnic from Royal Road. CAPTIVATED was inspired by Paul Harris' Reset but the plot veers of in a different direction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so8TYhb7Ofg

And it is on sale for the next week (10/17/18). I like both effects. Many will already have or do a variation but Cameron has again, taken a couple classics and put them together with a common thread. Another "no brainer" purchase from Cameron.

I'm still surprised there isn't much chatter about this set. All the guys who dive in feet first as soon as Penguin drops a Cameron Francis download for $10 are missing out on double the effects for half the price available directly from the creator (and a video download to boot). I am glad I'm on the email list so I get early notice of special sales like this one.

Nice Cameron,
I thought of a good line for the first one. Reveal the aces and then say : A lot of people say "I wouldn't want to play poker with you" to which I reply "Ok how about a little Black Jack?" (as you reveal four Jacks) I think Jacks are better because even people who don't play cards will get it even if they don't really get it> |

Mike, Great line about Black Jack—
I too put the Jacks in place of the Kings as it made perfect sense. |

Hi Francis,
Nice quick & easy tricks, congratulations. I love small packet tricks On a side note, and while I know it's the eternal debate so one can disagree, but maybe you're being too honest here by demoing your tricks with full uncut performances. |

They are average tricks at best and as old as the hills . I would never ever put any of these in my 4 working professional sets as there are far better even self working effects out there than these imo . The price is irrelevant , quality and impact is everything and these are very average , and that is being over kind

Cameron, who I don’t know, always seemed like one of the nicest guys to contribute to the Café and I assume one of the nicest guys in magic. I agree that if the trick is not for you then it is not for you at any price. I appreciate the full demo and the modest price. If you like what you see you should not think twice about purchasing.
I appreciate negative reviews as a rule, especially if they call attention to a misleading demo or a level of difficulty or practicality that I buyer might be interested in. Dannyflek you were just adding your negative opinion of the effects which while honest is not especially helpful since the effects are there for all to see. David Wax |

Then, Cameron does what Cameron seems to do best. He recycles these older gems and puts his modern spin on them. I often find myself not only playing around with the effects he offers (in his vision of it) but It makes me explore more effects from the original sources, constantly expanding my magic knowledge base (and library).

Websites are rubbish and you would never have one. Well, with 4 working professional sets you must have something on video. Seriously, you can't just keep those negative feelings to yourself? Why would you ever post something like that? Besides, I'm guessing that Cameron's target market for this is not professionals with 4 working sets so your opinion is irrelevant. Cameron, a lot of us still appreciate your contributions very much so don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. |
