What does this have to do with the art of performance/entertainment hypnosis?

Dear Mindpro,
By examining the PAST of hypnosis we able to arrive at how PRESENT reasoning got here.
This is true of many things: magic, mathematics, music, theater, human behavior, astronomy, navigation, etc. and including performance and entertainment hypnosis.
Sincerely,

The information provided is in regard to hypnotherapy and a timeline that offers nothing relative to this forum. Why is it you UK guys are so infatuated with hypnotherapy and historical related topics? I have yet to see this help anyone interested in stage hypnosis on any level. Why not focus on the topic the forum is intended for?

Yes, I do but fail to see how this has anything to do with entertaining or the education of entertainment. Just because it mentions Brown it in no way has is about performance hypnosis.

My question was sincere, why is it that you guys over there are so infatuated with hypnotherapy and things non-related or extremely minimally related to stage/performance hypnosis? Why can't you guys respect the rules and guideline of this forum and still continue to try every angle possible to bring up this topic?

Dear Mindpro,
Arthur D. Houghton, Ormond McGill, Pat Collins, Kreskin, and Annie De Montford seem to have been
selectively and conveniently forgotten in your hasty review.

Again, like Brown, a mention with some incorrect information (check your facts) has absolutely nothing to do with entertainment or entertainment education.

Wasn't hypnosis popularized by Sigmund Freud as part of his psychoanalysis ideas?

He did use it for a while, but he gave it up because he wasn't very good at it.

Again, that has nothing to do with stage or performance hypnosis.

This is only a simple timeline of the history of hypnosis. Since this is a magicians forum I agree with Mindpro that the provided sources are not relevant to performing and entertainment. Sorry, but IMO it looks like this topic is used to support a website.
