Hello everyone!
I'm a London based card magician and have only been in card magic for two years (but I have progressed a lot), although I do do some simple coin stuff as well. While I think that card magic will always remain my favourite type of magic , I have recently become interested in mentalism. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to learn it from? I'm looking for stuff that is either propless, or uses everyday items, excluding playing cards (I want to do something that does not involve playing cards very much or at all). Cost is not really a problem if something is really good, as I can always save money until I have enough. Thanks in advance! |

Welcome ng849,
I can't help with the mentalist sources but if you ask this in the "Penny for your Thoughts" forum you may get some help. If you can choose the right search terms, a search could help too. I love working with Cards but you are right to go for some variety. -Mary Mowder |

Check out Fraser Parker, Peter Turner, or Atlas Brookings if you are interested in propless work.
Beware though, propless work often isn’t surefire and often requires memorization. |
