Mr McComb With all the places you have been and all the events you have hosted. Was there a single event or show that has forever stuck in your mind. Also if I may. " What advice would you give us here today".
Thank You For Your Time

I think working The London Palladium. First night there you realise what a helluva long walk it is to the center stage and then when you get there you have to make good. There are two times to work there. First when you are too young in the business to realise what's at stake and secondly when you have been a pro. for long enough to be able to cope with anything. My opening night there they dropped my piano-conductor part down the ork. elevator! Luckily I knew the Musical Director who knew my music...I was saved !
Maybe also my first BBC. TV in August 1947
Advice:As soon as you make any sensible money and have anything to spare. Invest in Real Estate. It keeps up with the cost of living. Most houses/apartments appreciate in value faster than anything else.
