When working in a ballroom and corporate environment, always plan on cleaning up. Even if the client says "no problem" you will leave a bad taste with the event planner, hotel staff. The bad feelings can really give a 'bad name."

Don't make any mess you are not willing to clean up. Leave the place the way you found it is always a good policy.

I've always measured the amount of success I've achieved by the mess I can leave and get away with.
I'll know I have arrived when I can leave tmad much mess as Rocco and still have everyone like it. ;-)

Snow storm is one of my favorite illusions to perform.
I have been closing all my shows with it for over 12 years. OUTSIDE- does not work. OUTSIDE UNDER A PAVILION OR TENT maybe. This is meant to be on stage or indoors. Whether I am on a big stage or a school or at a private party this is hands down one of the best closers out there I can tell you that my snow goes 25' or more in the air and will land 30-40 feet from where I stand while performing it. Not to mention the kids that will rush to be in the snow or at least jump,up and run to the front of the stage. Outside ain't gonna work. I have tried but after a few times of it just blowing sideways and not up I realized I should never again try this outside. Good luck with it. Oh and in most cases I don't ask permission. However In libraries Private homes Or historic buildings I do ask permission As I don't stay to clean it up. Sam

If you really need to clean up, the fastest way is with a leaf blower.

I will mention a conversation I overheard at a large church that had recently had a magician entertain. The custodians were very displeased with the mess he left after his show. They said, "he just made a mess and walked away with confetti all over the place." It does seem reasonable to be considerate of the folks who have to clean up after the shows.

I always leave the room the way I found it.... even if that means picking up the snow one piece at a time... usually I'll bring masking tape and friends to help
