As the title says, my wife stumbled upon a shop with the following books and prices (in pounds). Who can tell me if she's found something I can't live without?

William Macready was a British Shakespearean actor of the 19th century, best known for his role in the infamous Astor Place Theatre Riot in New York City. Interesting if you enjoy theatre history, but I don't know of any magic connection that he had.

Thanks guys. I have her checking out Leat and I also told her to let us know what tricks Macready had up his sleeve. You might be right on that Jack, my wife is a writer and she may have just popped it on the list in hopes of me just saying get it!

The prices are well over the top - typical dealer prices. Never pay dealer prices for anything.
