Okay I do not want to use music for this effect...what are some really good patter lines for this illusion?

Don't be shy and let me know your ideas and such.

Peter Marucci you are being paged...

Man any ideas on this one, or has it been discussed too much already?

I do mine to music. I never tried it with patter.

I used the chair suspension today for the first time at a children's church program. I used the gospel patter of the story in the new testament about the man named Jaris who came to Jesus and asked him to come an heal his daughter who was close to death. On the way to the daughter, a messenger came and reported to Jaris that his daughter had died. When Jesus arrived, he told said "Child arise". The end of the story talks about Jesus taking the child's hand and lifted her up. I had the girl assistant "pretend" with me and re-enact the story. I removed the board when I got to the part about Jesus telling the child to arise.

I am sure I will smooth out the rough edges along the way.
