I was just fortunate enough to watch a clip and see the explanation for Sean Field's new "Infinity Switch".

This bill switch looks like trick photography. The bill seems to visibly change as you lightly stroke it with your fingers. The method is clever and it looks visually stunning.

This will be going to the replicator next week so is most likely a few weeks out but I'd strongly recommend this DVD. Sean is pricing it at a bargain price of $20 retail and it will be available from your favorite dealer. I'm not at liberty to post the clip but maybe Sean will soon.

Watch for this.

Thanks for the info Tim!

Who is publishing this DVD?
Message: Posted by: Sean Fields (May 27, 2005 05:46PM)
Hey guys!

The DVD will be self published by yours truly. This was originally slated to be a booklet, but after reading the booklet, and watching the videos I shot of the explanation, there was little doubt, this HAD to be a DVD. The method is by no means difficult or complicated, but it really does translate better to video.

I am just putting the finishing touches on the DVD this weekend, and will be dropping the master copy off at the duplicators Monday morning. If all goes well, this should be available within 2 weeks.

Thank you Tim, for the kind words regarding The Infinity Switch; I really am proud of this effect. The effect has decimated EVERYONE, laymen and magicians alike, who have seen me do it. The switch is visible and fluid, and the method is dirt simple.

Is this better looking than Money Morph or Visibill?
Message: Posted by: Sean Fields (May 27, 2005 07:26PM)
I will not say whether it is 'better' than the aforementioned effects, it really isn't my place to say such a thing.

What I will say is the bill changes AS IT RUNS THRU YOUR FINGERS! Also, the bill is only folded ONCE, in half lengthwise. It really does look remarkable.

I have and use Sean's CREAM effect and can tell everyone what a creative, gifted magician he is. I'll get in line for this DVD for sure.

I'll be watching for the DVD! Is the bill folded? How much?
Message: Posted by: Sean Fields (May 27, 2005 10:16PM)
As mentioned above, the bill is only folded ONCE. Again, as mentioned above, the retail will be a whopping $20!

Message: Posted by: Tim Trono (May 28, 2005 12:06AM)
Hi Jeremy. The bill is folded once the long way and it changes as you pull it through the fingers. Michael Weber has an unpublished effect with a completely different method that he showed to me a few years back. It looks extremely visual. There will be a lot of talk about Sean's change I am sure.

The demo looks great and the price is right. Sometimes after watching these videos a few times you can tell what's going on. Not here. I'm getting it!

In answer to he questions... it really is as good as it looks...

I just had the chance to see a preview of the DVD, and I must say that Sean has come up with a real winner. The Change looks unfriggin' real, you'll fool yourself. I absolutely love the Slick thinking behind this.

Also the instructions Sean gave were exceptionally clear and concise. He made abundantly clear what fingers should go where, and when, and what they were supposed to be doing, no one should have any issues learning from this video.

This is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Sean obviously put a lot of thought into this, and it shows.

Go get it.

P.S.- I have no affiliation with Sean, and stand to receive no monetary reimbursement for this review/endorsement.

3 years behind (2002) I created here in the Brazil a very similar magic effect with money transformation: My system used secrety only one mini classic "money machine" (yes: two coils) hidden between fingers... The effect is accurately THE SAME (!!!) with the unique difference that was not possible to show simultaneous the hands empty, unless the small gimmick were manipulated as a "dye-tube". Still I have mine. In this time I arrived to manufacture several for some Brazilian magician friends.

The Fieldsī"Infinity Switch" is see to be very good and different in method. Very clean!!! Congratulations !

Thank you Kardini!

It is funny that you mention that method; my original plan was to do exactly that, but make it small enough to fit inside a TT. As you can tell, that didn't work out as I expected, so I continued working with it, and developed a nice little technique that has proven to be the answer.

Sean, do you mind telling us about the cleanup? How "clean" can you get?

I really look forward to this DVD. I'm already on the waiting list. Good job Mr. Fields, this effect will go far.

That is a difficult question to answer, but I would say you are clean. In fact, I would say you are as clean as any other bill switch...

Has anyone else got this yet? Just wondered what other people thought of it. the potential for both magic and mentalism is great.

Sorry for the delay; the DVD's are finished, and will be shipped to dealers this week. If you ordered, you should have your copy shortly thereafter!

I ordered from Hocus-Pocus on 6/9..but got a note that it was back-ordered. I am still waiting.
Message: Posted by: Sean Fields (Jun 24, 2005 04:30PM)
I am sorry, when I said shipped, I meant I shipped them to Murphys. Having said that, the dealers should all have them, and be shipping out there pre-orders very soon.

Sorry for the confusion.

This thing is awesome. The DVD is only around 7 minutes in length, but is very clear and to the point. As for the switch itself, it is pretty simple, but will take some practice to get down. Unlike a lot of the other tricks I've bought over the years, this is one that I will actually use. Thanks Sean.
Hey, it also comes in a sleek DVD case *drool*.
Message: Posted by: Sean Fields (Jul 5, 2005 01:51PM)
Hey gngorick,

Thanks for noticing the case! LOL! I wanted the DVD to look a bit different, and kinda 'sexy', so I went with the slimline, clear cases. They are a tiny bit more money, but they look so much better.

I am glad you liked the switch; I am very proud of it. Thanks again for the kind words.
