Hey all, (I did a search so I hope this isn't already discussed?)

Hope this is news to some of you?

I was walking thru the super market getting some food while listening to my mp3 player.

I happened to be listening to a podcast that Banachek happened to be interviewed on. As I was walking thru the isles I noticed the interview guy mentioned the tension between Criss Angel and David Blaine, and since Banachek had worked with both parties the interviewer asked if Banachek could clear things up.

Banachek said that they never had a problem with one another as far as he could tell, and that in fact Blaine showed up to Criss Angels Osmosis Water Stunt during the filming of his show and talked with Criss Angels brother while Criss was in the tank saying to tell Criss Angel what he is doing is good and he should be proud of himself. The kill'em with kindness approach?

Whatever intention good or bad Blaine had for stopping by got me thinking in gerneral.

I think if there really was a "disliking" between both performers Blaine knew it was time to bury the hatchet so to speak, and what a better time to tell Criss Angel knowing that he wouldn't get the message intil Blaine was gone anyway.

Banachek said it made Criss happy that Blaine had stopped by to support him.

My whole point is imagine being Criss Angel. You just got done performing a stunt and your brother tells you Blaine stopped by to say he is proud of what you are doing. Being Criss Angel you would certainly know how you feel about Blaine. This had to catch him off gaurd and make him think a bit.

He would have to be thinking "better magic", "better magician" and performing aside... one of the two was a better man, then the other that day.

This new year I am going to try not to be so harsh on the man under the magic persona and focus more on how I could help or support my fellow magician.

You will rarely hear someone like Banacheck or Osterlind, or any of the real "names" in magic, take a step in that direction.

Even if Blaine and Chriss Angel are mortal enemies and stab each other at every turn, why would Banacheck involve himself and make his view of it public?e is too much a professional for that.

Speak kindly of everyone, and even you enemies will have nothing bad to say of you. It is just good sense.

All I know is, if I had to visit someone who didn't like me, I sure as hell would do it while he's locked in a water tank! lol.
