I don't think it is the same thing but I recently brought a 6 Way Colouring book. It is the nursery rhyme one made in India. I recommend against buying it. You can't show it as blank or any of the line art because the solid colours are all printed on the reverse and show through quite clearly.
:hrmph:

I agree with Andrew. 5 way or 6 way coloring books just get to confusing. I bought one where there are pictures that tell a story of the old hindu rope trick, including a boys body parts being thrown to the ground....In addition to being a story the kids can't relate to, mechanically it didn't work that well.

Feather plumes look cool, but instead of buying one, why not just get a regular colored feather for a couple cents, rig up some invis thread to it, and it should work just the same, right? Call it an owl feather from Harry Potter's owl.

Hi: I agree, the Coloring Book made in India is confusing. There's too many parts to the story.
I don't have the Treasure Chest of Doom, but I have an effect like it. It's good. You can dress the kids up as pirates and find a treasure map, etc. Don't know the quality of Hank Lee's Chest. Marty

scrub a dub is great and i reckomend using it in conjunction with a breakaway fan for "pretending to dry the hanks and also a black hand gag for cleaning voulenteers hands before you start. Great audience participation and with a good routine you have a winner.

I own the 5 way colouring book (the book of imagination). I ordered ir from Hank Lee. This one has relatively heavy paper pages and you don't see through them from a short distance - no problem with this.
Altought I still don't use it, it's not because it's not fun or interesting - it's only because I own a 3 way coloring book (cb) and I'm still used to it and haven't had time to pur it in my show.
Maybe you need a (very) little effort to get used to the 5 way cb, if you use the 3 way cb.
In general it is a good prop and the colors are beatifully printed. The story can also be interesting.

I have seen and have some of the other books and agree. However....
Yes that is why I like The Book of Imagination and use it in all my kid shows, It solves all your issues. (yes I know this is an old thread but the book is still available from Hank Lee) First the story makes sense. I never could figure out the others pictures in other books. The Book of Imagination is printed on thicker bright paper so there is no show through.
Also the creator told me how to show the book blank first which is not in the instructions but to be honest, In the 10 years of using this book I never need to show a blank set. I am just saying you could if you really miss that part. Also the story in TBOI is great and makes sense to the kids. I have them standing up screaming at the end when the rabbit finally appears.
Anyway, I like it, just my two cents.

What is the Grocery Bag Briefcase? Couldn't find it on Hank's site.
