Topic: Is it real? |
Hi, in Geek Magic dvd by Thomas Medina he has a tic tac routine, he puts them in his eyes etc. I was just wondering is it real or a trick? |
It's a trick. A good trick, but a trick. Tomas has some fun stuff in that video. |
Do you have the DVD or did you just hear about it? If you have it, there is a section on there where Tomas teaches the methods for all the tricks he performs. |
No I don't have it, I have ordered it though, I was just curious. |

Tomas is a great magician, he usually has a really good presentation for his effects. |

Though the term geek magic is not accurate for what we do, it does kinda fit Tomas' video. Much of what he teaches is gaffed ways to create the illusion that you ingesting all kinds of unusual things such as motor oil, glass, a balloon and even spit. I liked this video. I met Tomas and he is nice guy with a twisted sense of humor. |

I second that. |

Where would this video be? I'd love to look for it...but my 5 second break time is up. :) |

Doug, check penguin.com they have it for sure. |

Tom Mullica has the same routine on his Expert Impromptu Magic vol.2 He calls it "The Indian Bean Mystery" and does the trick with...yup...beans. Tom Mullica is no geek! |
