Topic: Did successful Glass Box Prediction - Great effect
Message: Posted by: Thomas Rudolfo (Feb 24, 2006 05:39PM)
Hi friends,

Just want to post my experiences with this wonderful prediction here. I did it the first time yesterday (THursday).

Local press was present and one guy from a radio station where the theatre advertised on. So as a result I will have the chance to do an interview and some radio mentalsim soon.

Two weeks ago I gave the sealed glass box to the director of the theatre and yesterday at the end of my show it was opened for the first time.
Aside my usual show I also did some hypno-effects and the audience really was great already.

But the prediction floored them completely. I did it almost like written in the booklet except the fact that the first prediction in my case was a drawing dupe because I already did use some effective book tests at the beginning of the show. But then I did the card predictino and at the end 3 predictions out of a newspaper headlines.

One of an international event, one of a national event and one about Olympics.
THe reactions really were amazing. At this theatre I always do some small talk after the show in the buffet room of the theatre and this time the prediction was THE most talked about thing of course.

So IMO this really is one of the most direct predictin effects because you really apparently never touch the box (you actually don't) and its contents.

So I really can recommend this to everyone who considers to do a clean and direct headline prediction. The advantage IMO is that you start off with some smaller predictions in the show and end up with maybe 3 (what I did) headline predictions of events.

Just my experiences and little review
Greetings
Thomas

Thomas,

it was nice to read your review about your Prediction Show - GREAT!

I asked in the "Glass Box Prediction" -Post about it, but found the answer now in here!

I got my "Glass Box Prediction" with all the information and it is just a great concept and idea. I'm going more and more into further thinking and have some things to discuss. I like to talk about some points of your presentation and handling. I also have a new idea to hide "the moment" better!

I get back to you in a PM if it is ok for you!

Cheers,
Jarod

Hi Mike,

I still saw it recently on Elmwoodmagic.com, Hank lee or also magicshop.com.

Just have a search and you will find some sources which sell it for about 75,-

Jarod,

Thanks. I really would appreciate it to read your ideas via PM.

Greetings

I also have had great reactions from this. I finessed the routine a little more to make it even more devious.

Good Morning!

Thomas, Ventman ... would be good to go to a chatroom and discuss this further!

Any Idea which chat to use or any other suggestions?

I think it is better as posting on and on again!

Cheers,
Jarod

Why don't we do a group skype or msn?

I am planning a rare "In The Studio" Radio appearance and I think that this will be perfect. I've never performed it before. I like the idea of doing it in two sections...then I'd feel a lot more confident at the final reveal. Since the RINGER is already IN.

Slim,

Good idea, but let me ask you what do you mean by saying to do it in two sections? In what time-frame will the whole thing fit in?

Looking for your reply!

Icy,

what about the Yahoo Messenger, is there also a chance for a group session?

I don't have any Messenger yet, worked in the past with ICQ.

Cheers,
Jarod

Jarod, Yahoo would be good as I worked with this in the past.
Will be at home tomorrow and would appreciate it if we could discus this topic via chat. Really looking forward.

There is a two phase version. Can't say more here. One part is done earlier.

Hi Slim,

just read again your post about the "rare radio show". Did it already take place or is it still to come?

Hope you write a review, would like to read it!
