I am waiting for a copy to arrive in the post
I'm after the lifetime span reading but I believe that there are other excellent
goodies in it
Would anybody care to tell me what I can expect in it?
Cheers

TJ, Why?

If it's really coming to you anyday now... Better keep the surprise alive!

And so, TJ, did you get the book?

If you got it, don't you think it is a MARVELOUS book? It so full of facts, information and hystorical gems that it should be something to cherish and to jealously guard from other people...:)

Try H&R Magic Books from time to time. Be aware that Mr. Larsen's chapter on table tipping has some misinformation in it. I believe a lot of the writers from that generation put in advice, knowing it would be impossible to follow through on.

In the table tipping (spirit table) section, he advises one to use a large, havy table. If you do so, nothing will happen!

It is a great book though, with ltos of great ideas.

I bought mine from Erica 2 or 3 years ago.
So I doubt that there are still copies left with her.
It is a wonderful book on how to live mentalism with lots of helpful ideas on how to evaluate your magical business side.
There are some nice effects in it as well but the book is not about them in the first place.
You will have to keep in mind that the material is dated and some things from the past do not work today. So you will have to find the right frame to put his advice.

I've been interested in gatting a copy of this OOP book for awhile now, and I bet a few other people here have as well. I just wanted to point out something I found today: The Miracle Factory is selling cds containing all of Larsen's work (including this book) for only $30. Furthermore, if you want an original copy of the book they have a few for $65. Purchasing either is definitely a no-brainer.

A while back I challenged a skeptic who's name is now banned here (good reason, too much emotion) to a challenge. I suggested I do my readings and he do a stock reading and we see if there was any perceived difference from the sitters.

He declined, but that is not the point...I had a stock reading in mind. The reading I was going to suggest he use is in the Mental Mysteries Larsen book. It is the life span reading that talks about the sitter having lived life in seven cycles. When I was a skeptic I used this stock reading...very, very strong. I thought it would be a good test.

There are other stock readings in that book I did not have success with but that one I mention is worth taking a look at.

Yes this is a great book, by coincidence I went to see Derren Brown in April. Was reading this when I got home that night and one of the effects was one of those performed that evening
