Sue-Anne and I have just released a DVD of 50 tricks, gags and betchas anyone can do. We recorded it in one of Melbourne's top Cafés and it also includes a number of bonus features (including access to an exclusive internet forum for 'Stunters')

If you're interested, you can read about it here http://www.magicunlimited.com/cunning_stunts.htm
but be aware it is a PAL format DVD so it may not play in USA or Japan on NTSC format DVD machines. (It will play on many computers with DVD drives I am told).

Now, you KNEW you were going to get this question, didn't you?

"Any chance for an NTSC version?"

:)

Maybe in 2007....

Looks like fun. That name is a bit of a tounge twister. I mixed up some of the first letters of "cunning stunts" and it came out as something completely different and quite naughty!

It does make an interesting 'spoonerism', doesn't it? ;)

No Metallica fans here I guess.

I once mentioned that Mr Ellis has a show called Cunning Stunts on the Café and I got deleted, warned and almost banned!

I'm glad our hosts have developed more of a sense of humour.

PS - I'll buy a copy tim.

Good on you Nicholas! We're having a launch here in Melbourne at the 'What's New' stores for Fathers Day.

I won't be in Melbourne next until the 16th of next month (shopping centre shows)

Do you have any other launches/gigs around that time?

Sounds interesting, do you ship globally? If so, how much to the UK? (there's not much chance of me popping to Melbourne any time soon)

Nicholas, give us a call when you're in Melbourne. I'd love to catch up.

Cunning stunts... Be careful with that gag - it's an antique!

You certainly have to be a cunning linguist to say it right! :)

Looks like a LOT of fun! But no NTSC. :(
Message: Posted by: blink_inc (Feb 5, 2007 04:29PM)
Offering it as a download?
Message: Posted by: Tim Ellis (Feb 5, 2007 09:06PM)
Well... I'd have to talk to out techies about how the download idea would work.

(I know there are downloads of our other 3 DVDs out there BUT WE DID NOT AUTHORISE THEM!!! grrrr!)

We've been able to keep the cost low on this project by not transferring it to NTSC, we just didn't think there would be the demand for it in the USA.

No demand in the US & Canada. For being able to win free drinks. You really don't know much about North Americans, do you, Tim? ;)

You can buy software that will convert or play PAL on your computer. Do a search.

I'm going to look into this tonight. I could swear I can convert PAL to NTSC with no problems on my PC that I use for video editing at home.

Maybe stamping out the duplicates is where the cost is coming from?
