Anyone familiar with Van Dokkum's nesting cups? How are they? Any good routines for them?

I got the first set of both sizes. They are an interesting change off from a regular set of cups. They come with a routine by Mark Mason.

Mechanically and from a standpoint of workmanship they are excellent.

They seem like a very nice option for the strolling performer as they take up the space of one cup.

Certainly an interesting idea....I'd love to see a routine with a set. That said, I understand they don't come cheap; however, you get the quality you pay for.

I saw the jumbo version on the museum website, but not on Auke's. Were these a custom order, Bill?

No, Mark Mason sells them. There may be a routine for them on his web site as well.

These cups are not for everyone.

They would be very impractical to carry nested. You have to separate them before use. This can take a bit of wangling. (That's a Texas word.)

Thanks Bill, I'll take a look at Mark's site.

'Wangling' - that's one of those words that's universally recognised but not in any dictionary :)
