Topic: Head Off Shoulders Illusion Plans
Message: Posted by: DaytonaAramisCheyenne (Nov 14, 2006 05:28PM)
I have sent payment to a "Production Company" in Germany, purchasing the construction plans for the HEAD OFF SHOULDERS illusion.

This was back in March of this year, (2006)... and I did not receive a bit of information on how to construct / perform, this interesting illusion.

Instead of re-investing in this illusion, and having yet another "Company" not communicate or send what was purchased, ($139.00 U.S.), is there someone here that would be willing to share the plans and the workings of the HEAD OFF SHOULDER ?

Thank-You in advance.

Respectfully Submitted.

Hi Daytona,

Sorry to hear you've had problems with someone selling magic. It does, sometimes, happen. You might let us know who it was so we can learn from the problems you've experienced first hand.

Have you tried calling and actually talking to someone? Maybe there is a phone number on their website or something.

On another note...Welcome to the Café! You'll find some great people here willing to share lot's of good advice and opinions.

Take care, Mark.

I agree...makes you hope to run into them sometime!

Just know he'll eventually get what's coming to him. I'm a BIG believer in "you get what you give" (karma) and The Golden Rule.

Wow, that really blows.

Have you looked into any of the Andrew Mayne books or at his effect Facelifter? Most of his illusion books are fairly inexpensive and the Facelifter effect is $13.95. Granted Facelifter utilizes a cardboard box but has gotten some good reviews.

I don't have it so I'm not sure if you could adapt it to a wooden or other permanent material box.

Might be worth a shot for under $20. You can check out Andrew's site http://www.weirdthings.com

Best of luck.

Hey Daytona....

Give me a PM sometime. I can help you out regarding the Head off Shoulders effect if you still need it.
