Now we are at the borderlands of my knowledge of things magical. Or am I missing a Dadaist joke of some sort?

What's going on with all this weird, cryptic stuff around here recently? Is there something in the water?
Message: Posted by: Harley Newman (May 10, 2007 06:05AM)
It's current, and you're practicing resistance.

I go with the flow, but try to avoid all of the flotsam and jetsam around me. It seems to have gotten much more difficult these days.

Tis the UNSTRUCK SOUND. can you hear it? it was before and after, but most importantly tis NOW.

pity for the one who knoweth not the mysteries of OM. yet, he who says he knows it, knows it not.

listen, it is screaming there, in the silence.

p.s. Gotama, PADME

Master Ligon will soon venture down from the caves to tell you more.

OMMM

Sorry, it's kind of like "shave and a haircut" or just playing the first three notes of Beethoven's 5th symphony. You have to finish it or you go nuts waiting for somebody else to do so!

To start another:

Message: Posted by: Gede Nibo (May 10, 2007 08:05AM)
Start another? O howfore is this possible when OM never began?

also, sorry if some of you were looking for EFFECT. This, this is the CAUSE.

Message: Posted by: Gede Nibo (May 10, 2007 08:29AM)
Om is NOT mantra on its own, but tis the ROOT from which mantra, ie man made sounds of consciouness doth spring.

anyhow, to those who do not know it, say it silently o'er and yet o'er again.

On a slightly different note, I have a prayer wheel gifted to me by a Dzogchen Master. It contains over 200 MILLION Om Mani Padme Hum mantras (hand rolled) with medicine Buddha prayers and ancient 7 line prayers of the Great Mystic Saint PadmaSambhava surrounding them , and Sky and Earth mandalas topping it all. There have been a few like this one commissioned by H.H. It is a gorgeous and powerful piece of work!

Perhaps we should dedicate any merit (good karma) that is received through this thread and discussion for the benefit of all sentient beings. :)

I'd be happy to give the wheel a spin on behalf of any interested!

Om Ah Hum.

Hahaha, now there's an idea! Actually, giving the wheel a steady spin results in it turning about 60-80 times, so, a lot of good vibes and merit in that!

well well my good Lad, "wisdom is found in the simplest of places.."

now, I just cant believe no one really knows or at least see with the One Eye, the Truth of OM.

but still, I agree with all the sacrasm and fun jokes. for even the most enlightened being is but in a more purified form of ignorance. and so it is, that I too, am but an ignorant Fool. e'en the Tarot proclaims thus.

peace and thanx for playing.
