Topic: Chrome manipulation balls?
Message: Posted by: Thommy Razor (May 18, 2007 11:25AM)
I'm looking for a set of multiplying/manipulation balls that are solid chrome or silver, but not the Vernet "disco" ball look. Any suggestions?
Cheers!!

Thank you! Is he a member of the Café, or does he have a company?

He is a member of the Café and I think he goes by Aaron Chee. If you can not find it, let me know as I may be able to get you in contact with him directly through an e-mail I think I have. My pleasure. I know they are silver and metal and look pretty cool. I have not had time to play around with them much yet.

What size are those silver balls, Kyle?
Message: Posted by: magic4u02 (May 18, 2007 11:11PM)
He has them in a variety of different sizes and will be offering them in different colors aswellas sh### to go with them. He will even be offering half colored one color and half the other. The ones I was playing around with were like 1 1/2inch but I know he has them in different sizes. He is letting me check them out now as he is working out the details to make this available and find out who might be interested in a product like this. His name here is aaron chee and just PM him and tell him Kyle sent you. He would be happy to fillyou in and can probably give you more details then I can.

Thanks Kyle, Thanks for the nice compliment.
Its great that you are happy with those stainless steel mirror finish manipulation balls.

Hi guys, Kyle contacted me and says there is someone into chrome manipulation ball in here.

Therefore, I hop in here and take a look.

Well, I manage to get back to my workshop and took some picture of the manipulation stainless steel balls.

These balls comes in 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2". Most people in asian theirs' hands are small. 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" balls are used.

These balls are light and easy to manipulate. Its hollow inside and shiny on the outside.

Other than that we are able to produce colored stainless steel mirror finish manipulation balls. Comes in red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, black and yellow gold.

We are able to produce semi sided color stainless steel mirror finish manipulation balls. Another words, e.g. one side of the semi-sphere is blue and the other side semi-sphere is red. So you can add these to your routine of ball manipulation. Customed balls with your desire color is achievable.

Basically that's all for now. Here are some pictures to show you for now. I am trying to get the pictures of colored balls and post in later time. For now enjoy, my friends.

Are the balls slippery, Kyle? Will they grip on the fingers? Based on your working experience with them, do they work well - meaning they do not fall off easily. What if, when your hands sweat on stage, will they be slippery?

Hi James. The balls are indeed a little slick and slippery especially when compared to fakinis. But like any new prop, I do not find this a bad thing really. It is just a matter of getting used to them. Once you do, you should have no problem qwith them. They really do look great and the color options are wonderful. It is something new that I think some manipulators will be drawn to.

My question are they too shiny for stage work with a spotlight. I have some that I put magnets in and can do lot with them. Put, only used them for close-up about 7 years ago. I do not even know where they are now. It was going to be part of my close-up contest act everything turned to chrome. The coins, cards, and etc. If you use the idea of the magnet please to not sell them because I hope its my idea of using them this way. If not just pm and tell who the first was. Thanks

You are most welcome my friend. Yes indeed, It is really a matter of getting used to something new is all. I think there is great potential in balls like these and it certainly opens the door for diversity in performance and creativity as well.
