Message: Posted by: The GodFather (Feb 24, 2008 01:02PM)
Hello friends.

I am interested to add a costume change in my illusion show.
Do you know anybody who can make a costume change for me in a decent price?

What country these people are? Where I can go and make one?

There is a DVD out that shows you how to do some of the things in the video. I'm not sure of the title but they also suggest having a good seamtress available.

The DVD might Help Plus give you great Ideas. if you can find a seamstress and curtain weights it shows how to make it in there. that's why I suggested it. unless if you can contact the two people that are quick change artists David and Danielle ( don't think I spelled her name correctly ) but I also heard they have a patent on it if you can get a copy of the patent and it should give you a few ideas as what to do or that can be done. there is also a book out but I'm not sure of the title of it. did you try searching.

Hey God Father do you know Vinny Marini?
Message: Posted by: The GodFather (Mar 5, 2008 04:04AM)
No. Who is he? Can he help me out?
Message: Posted by: Al Angello (Mar 5, 2008 06:16AM)
Are you serious? Vinny Marini is "The Godfather" he has about 4 DVD's, and about 6 downloads on his website. He is easily the most loved and colorful character here at the magic Café. Vinny has over 4,500 posts here at the magic Café. He has invented card, coin, rope, and is one of the worlds leading experts on rubber band magic. You must be joking. You can do a Café search on vinsmagic, or a google search on this famous magician from Manhattan, who now lives in San Pedro Ca. Vinny is famous the world over. LOL

Now you say, this name say something to me. Since I am illusionist I never hang out at sides of the Café regarding coins, cards etc. This is why I didn't get accros him in any thread.

Anyway, does anybody here can help regarding costume change costumes?
I know its deficult question but ... anybody?

I think you should PM Vinny. He would get a kick out of meeting you.

Al, not to be a stickler over relevance, but I tend to think that if you want to talk about knowing people it would be more appropriate to do so through a PM instead of wandering off the topic of the thread.
Best regards,

Hi Destiny
Good for you, after 30 days it's a snap. My problem with tobacco was trying to find something to do with my hands.

Hi Magical John
Welcome to the magic Café. As you can see by my posts I am a very social guy, and I just can't keep from exchanging pleasantyies with my friends.

I believe the DVD you are looking for is “The Art of Costume Changing” by Yasuda. It is available at Stevens Magic Emporium

I have it and would recommend it.

David and Dania were great but a few excellent acts have been popping up lately.
