Rick was still in high school when I moved away from Peoria. He was so much wanting to become a career magician at that time, and obviously he made that dream a reality. I saw Rick again two years ago, the first time in many years. At that time we were discussing the death of a mutual friend, Rich Rau, a magician also from the Peoria club. Life sometimes takes some sad and unexpected turns.

I cannot express how much Rick (RAVEN)MacDonald impacted my life. I was lucky enough to call him my friend. We spent hours talking magic, family and life. I spoke to him a few weeks before he passed .. we talked little magic more focused on life..he was dealt a bad hand but he never let it stop his will to go forward in a postive way. The magic world lost a great one and I lost a friend I shall never forget..The world has become a better place thanks to my friend.. RAVEN
