Not bad , Michael, you are doing better all the time. I realize that breaks between classes are short, but you talked way too fast during most of those routines, made it look like you were very nervous and also made it hard to follow what you were saying. Slow down those lips a little.

It's hard to get used to, especially with the high school rush, but I'm trying. Thank you for your kind words as well!

Normally, though, when I do formal shows, I speak much more slowly.

Quick note - watch the comments on your video on youtube - might want to consider certain things might offend certain groups of people. just an FYI.

You're improving a lot great job Michael!

Father Photius talked about slowing down, I agree as you looked very rushed.
it's really hard to follow when you're so fast. The last thing you want to do is confuse your spectators. Slow down and don't rush an effect,I suggest doing something very visual and short in school settings.

Cheers

Ahh thank you, didn't consider that it may be offensive.

Yeah - not a huge deal I think, but I can see some sensitive people getting offended by it. with our lives on the Internet, we always have to consider now that people are constantly judging what we put out there, and not always necessarily in context!

Good job, Torn needs some more practice (taking the 2 pieces & restoring the last piece), I find that doing it a bit slower provides a great reaction. other than that it was fairly good. keep up the good work.

Thank you for the comments and advice... I haven't done Torn in a long time, thought I should start working on it again... I will definitely work on it and make it slower.

Almost every time I read the comments on anything online, they are stupid, obscene and disgusting.

I think this is a sad state of affairs.

What are you referring to exactly, Mr. Biro?
Message: Posted by: Xtasy0 (Oct 9, 2008 12:22AM)
Most likely the comments on youtube :)

You guys may or not believe this but Michael HAS SLOWED DOWN LOL!!!!

Michael how many times do I have to tell you that you need to do magic for people not for the camera? Oh wait, you DID!!!!!!!!!!! DARN NICE!!!!

Getting real people reactions, engaging people, looking at them, wow what can I say my friend?

NOBODY had been a tougher critic of our young friend than I have and this is nice to watch him progress from magic geek, to a guy doing tricks people enjoy. AND THEY DO.

Keep working on engaging the audience Michael, and you can't please everyone. If you don't get one or 2 comments about being offensive, your not 15!
