Hi everyone I have a little reasearch here.
And I nead your opinion about Kevin James Snow Routine, I see so far many magicians are used all of imagination and creativity, here is an example for you to judge.

Original Act: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNFJmb_DFCU&feature=related
Copycat Act: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNFJmb_DFCU&feature=related

First video is in russian language but you hear and everyone knows the whole story.
Second one is in Lithuania and the translation is the same...

Hi Nick -

Both of the links you posted are of the same video, which was performed by Kevin James. This link will take you to the performer doing Kevin's routine:

Kevin has a wonderful patter line to go along with this routine and a very similar version is performed by David Copperfield. (I believe the Kevin consulted with him on that.)

Sadly I must agree that there are many magicians who copy other performer's patter and routines word for word. Kevin James did market his routine for 'snow storm' and sold it along with a stool that assisted in the production of the 'snow.' Each one was sold with Kevin's original script and full performance rights. Even so, it appears that the man in the linked clip, was not using Mr. James' equipment, even though he did perform the routine in an identical manner.

All we can do is work to make each effect our own, lest we become a cheap imitation of the true artists.

Dcjames well said! magicians just copy other fellow magicians now a days.not just the patter but music, costume, style, sometimes even they way they act on stage. that don't even fit to their personality.always want shortcuts.how many demos on youtube did you find that has the background music by artist seal-"crazy"?
Copperfield wanna be's.
