What illusion is this? The description below is from jimsteimeyer.com under creations.

Do-it-yourself Suspension
An especially practical suspension effect; the spectator floats on a board as the two chairs, supporting it, are pulled away.

Hi Magic-Taylor,
nice to hear you again on the Magic Café!

This levitation sounds interesting but I couldn't find any infos about it.

Greetings from Austria!

Pradell,

Personnally I did it once years ago to know more about a few of his creations, but I didn't get any answer.

Maybe Magic-Taylor has more luck than me.

Oliver.

That is the suspension that Rick Thomas does in his show. Rick added the splash system to it so the person can rise as well.

Craig,

This illusion sounds basicly like a chair suspension. Am I right ?

Does anybody has a picture of the prop ?

Oliver.

I know Willie Kennedy has made this. In effect 2 chairs sit on two short boxes and a board is laid across. the chairs are pulled away to the floor and the board stays suspended.

Alright !

Thank you Craig. If I'm right Rick did this illusion in his Las Vegas Show with a kid helping him.
His assistant laid down on the board and he used a lot of comedy to get the kid to make his assistant fall into "trance" using some money and to wake her up with a kiss.
