Can anyone point me in the direction of a plaid suit for a vent figure (by chance)? I'd rather find one than have one custom made. Also - I need a "Derby" style hat for Mortimer. Any recommendations/links? Thanks! |

Matt, I'd recommend you try a costume shop that handles theatre productions. Chances are they may have an old children's sized costume you can buy - or can easily create what you need. You may also want to do searches for vintage children's clothing/outfits/costumes. Good luck, Tom |

Hi Matt, You can also try Ebay... I got a tux and a matching top hat for my Mack-Marshall in Ebay :) http://www.wanlu.net/mackoyid.JPG Wanlu |

Bill Nelson mentioned that I should try a Herringbone suit. I have a great tweed jacket for him, so I ordered a great bow tie/vest combination that is bright red/plaid. Also purchased some old school shoes that will be perfect from Bill Nelson, and a derby....so he won't be "exact" Mortimer...but he will look pretty darn good on display in my office, LOL. |

Hi Matt, Is your Mortimer figure the one posted at the Brose site? http://www.puppetsandprops.com/Images/mortimer%20ears.jpg Wanlu |

That's a link to an interesting Mort figure, Wanlu. "Mortimer, oh Mortimer, where art thou, how do I crave three, let me count the ways" Every time I think I have found a nice Mortimer figure that I am seeking, I find another picture of the real shameil deal Bergen Mort that puts most everything I have found so far to shame... I just saw some Selberg Mort's on google images that look pretty *** close to the real thing. You probably had to mortgage the house to afford 'em though. AC |

No, mine is an "exact" replica. I'll post pics when he is all costumed. The picture you're looking at is a Chuck Jacksonized version. I also like Selberg's version of the Bergen characters. |
