Ah the joys of choosing not to bring your sound system...

Last nights gig did have a decent one...except no mike stand....

As I create some on the spot puppets from Duct Tape..I was ready to rig up a temporary neck brace for some hands free to share music, magic and puppetry.

Yes I know many sell the already made gimmick..but with my mellow yellow tape...I matched my color scheme that night....(yes I have others like blue, red, purple...depending on what ropes, vest...ect I will be using....

hmm I wonder if they are going to make red/white and blue (combined tape)

side note..anyone due the duct tape over mouth vent bit....

Nigel: the tape was supposed to go on you Harris.

As a musician I truly know the value of a roll of duct tape! I keep a small roll in my magic "emergency kit" too.

As a musician, I use something called "Tunnel Tape" which is duct tape but only sticky on the edges. The middle of the tape has no stick so yuor cables you use them on will not get sticky.

Someone mentioned once that you only need 2 items in your toolbox. Duct Tape and WD-40.

If it moves and it's not supposed to, use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and it doesn't, use WD-40.

Duct tape has actually come quite a ways since it was first invented. It now comes in a variety of colors and textures. I saw recently a senoir prom where the dress code was "Duct Tape" and some of the "clothes" made were quite a sight!

Look at this Google search for "Duct Tape Prom Dress"
