I have several sets of these from RNT2 and they're great. I think they'll last a lifetime. I have the working sets, but there's also a final load size.

Don't overlook the Jumbo size olives. They are larger, about the size of a Spanish Queen olive and have a stronger impact with larger chop cups:

And Dale is right, while you are at it, consider the Giant Olive as a final load (it's as big as a large egg):

A full routine with olives is just cool.

Hi Donnie, just received my Don Alan Mini Chop Cup, Fantastic quality thanks... will the chopped Olives fit in this size cup? will the giant olive be too big? I produce a full size billiard ball at the moment so it doesn't have to sit in the cup...

just to let you know it took from July 6th to July 27th to get to Germany which is pretty normal although the customs charged me EUR 21 sales tax - boo hoo - it is still worth it's weight in gold (cleverly colored to look like antique bronze :) )

Just checked the website again, of course the answer is there... of course they fit... thanks order on the way...

BUMP - does anyone know where I can get these? I've had a look on Rings n Things and can't seem to find them. The above links just to take me to the home page?

Enter Olive in the search box on the RNT II site and all the olives you could want show up :)

But Jake, RNT II is SOLD OUT of everything but the black olives. Not a green one to be had.

What the heck ... in the meantime, put a magnet in regular olive, freeze them, and do your routine quickly. Take a lemon, paint it to look like an olive.

Maybe I should go into the business? Will sell you a set of two mag olives (plastic coated), two regular olives (ditto), and two large olives (lemons to look like olives, plastic coated) for less than $30.00 post paid.

Limited to two sets per customer.

The Olives, chopped and others will be back very soon. I'm making improvements to the original design.
The link above is an old link to the previous version of the online store, the new link is here (they are listed under Balls, Odd Balls):
http://www.rnt2.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=183

They will all be back in stock real soon.

I absolutely love them and perform with them and the jumbo final load olives using my stainless steel Bar Cup by Roger Nicot.
Message: Posted by: AndreaMooreMagic (Jul 1, 2016 03:45PM)
Do you allow people to handle the olives? Or are they strictly visual?
Message: Posted by: rmendez (Jul 8, 2016 01:49AM)
You can allow spectators to inspect the olives if you like. The fact that they are solid silicon does not make them any less impressive.

Palm the "magnetic olive" and fill up a Norm Nielsen elegant porcelaine chop cup with real olives and pass it around for people to have one, just leaving one for you ... A nice way to start a chop cup routine (and have the props casually examined along the way)...

Why not use real olives? Seems to me it wouldn't be too difficult to set up.

Re-newing an old thread. Olives haen hard to get, so I made some molds and using hard latex. Have them in strait sets, chopped sets and the forever missed JUMBO OLIVE, all with pimentos in them.

Jake--when will those olives be available?
Message: Posted by: Mad Jake (Sep 20, 2017 10:11AM)
They're available now. We cast the latex ourselves., they look identical to real olives.

Reviving this thread...

Jake- I see the jumbo olive load, but not the normal ones.. Will those be in stock again? Looking for something that could fit inside a Leo Smetsers Mini Aluminum Harmonica chop cup..

I ordered the olives from Airship and was really disappointed. Go with the MagicSmith olives on the MagicSmith site and add your own small bar magnets, I use them for Bar Cup Reloaded and absolutely love the feel and look.

Airship had some really bad communication issues and after a really long wait I got olives that look identical (same color, same imperfections) to olives that I had previously purchased from a fake food site for restaurants. Unfortunately, the Airship olives look nothing like the old RNT II versions.

Airship = took months, different people communicating with me on one user account, shipped to the wrong location, and the final product was average. They do amazing brass work though, breathtaking stuff.
Magicsmith = I bought 5 sets and they're all absolutely perfect and arrived ahead of schedule.

Danny Crook, but now it's Danny Boy. You sent me a message about them and I started to reply within the minute you sent it. But Low and Behold you blocked me? What is that all about? Everyone knows my brother stands behind his
work. His work with wood, metal, latex, silicone is outstanding. And had you NOT blocked me I could worked things out for you. Let me give you a little history lesson on this order and RNT II.

You started off with NO HURRY, you said it several times in your message to me. Take your time you said, your ticket was marked "No Rush" by me when I passed your order onto Frederick. Frederick is a very talented and up and coming
craftsman for his age. You say other's communicated with you, of course they did, it's their "JOB". There are 9 of us here working. Like Steven's Magic, we have Employees and I'm very proud to say, they are some of the best.

The olives are from RNT II, my father sold thousands of them. When Mike Estes had fake foods, dad was getting them from him. Then a problem occurred at Fake Foods, the molds were worn out. As my brother and I were going through
our late father's stuff from RNT II we found some of the ORIGINAL Olives. Frederick cast a mold of them and makes his own. There are no imperfections, if you actually go to the store and get a bottle of real olives and put one side
by side with the ones my brother makes they look like REAL olives.

Years ago, a regular here on the Café built a theatre / bar in his basement. I've seen the pictures and it's spectacular. He sent dad a empty Olive bottle and asked him to fill it up with the olives, the same ones your received.
He kept them on his bar and people had no idea they were not real. He would take them out wet and use them for a miniature cups & balls routine he did and a chop cup routine with a Mini Don Alan. Your perception of realistic
is not realistic at all. But again you cock blocked me in a flash after sending me your PM. The final product was not average, they were Realistic.

As too the shipping, that is Fredericks fault for not letting our niece know they needed to go to another address, but she has been told to ship to Confirmed Paypal address. But Frederick did drop the ball on that one. But I
couldn't apologize to you for that because again you Blocked me. I still can't wrap my mind around why you would do that.

So all in all the only issue was the shipping to the wrong address.

Thank you for your compliment on my brass work. I take a lot of pride in it, my late father's brother, my uncle and our business manager taught me all he knows.

Kindest Regards,
Jacob Jr.

Hi Mg, nice to hear from you. Frederick, since May has been making nothing but small life cast body parts for Halloween. To date, If I remember correctly he's cast over 4,000
Zombie and Human body parts ie ears, eyes, tongues, etc.

He can make you olives for the Leo Smesters cup, but there is an issue sometimes. I have one of the chop cups you have by Leo. If I drop one of Leo's chopped balls into the cup
it works superbly. But if I try to use another magnet, the bare magnet barely holds sometimes and it's a Grade N52 which is one of the strongest you can buy.

What I did do is send the cup and chopped ball to K&J Magnetics to figure out what is going on. They helped me previously to figure out how to magnetize the magnet in a combo
set or chop cup. They really are amazing up there and wonderful to deal with.

Sorry for the long winded reply, but as soon as we find out what is going on with Leo's cup and magnet we'll be able to produce them.

The other company that makes "Perfect" olives which in my opinion look like something from the Roger Rabbit movie. They look fake.

Kindest Regards,
Jake Jr.

Danny Boy,
I'm sorry, I forgot to address one other issue you seem to have with our business, the same email account. Everyone of our employees have access to that account, it shows up on their iPhones. This is something our father
taught me. Everyone is on the same page this way. We all have our own personal email accounts, but when it comes to work, it is 1 email account. Even orders and inquiries from our Live Chat Support and store orders
gets sent to everyone.

I'm sorry that this business practice is a big concern to you.

Regards,
Jacob Jr.

One of the first things I told Airship was that I was in absolutely no hurry...but I was very specific about what that meant...when I commissioned these olives all I asked for was communication. No hurry is not the same as "please go radio silent on me." It was a simple request but one that didn't happen, and to tell anyone otherwise is simply false.

I blocked Airship because I was tired of the runaround. Once I finally received what they were ok with sending out, there was no need for me to endure more stories about expired latex and such, our transaction had been completed. No apology necessary, no point really and obviously nobody who blocks a company from communicating with them is seeking an apology.

This is my original account from when I was a kid, but I was unable to login until recently because I don't use the same email as I used in 2005. I started a Danny Crook account recently but I was eventually able to get back into my original account with the help of the Café folks. Not sure what that has to do with me experiencing poor service...

I only ever communicated with Airship via the Café so I can't speak to any of what they went on about regarding personal and business email addresses.

I can tell you that I've never seen real olives with flat cuts and air bubbles pock marking the surface but maybe I haven't been eating the really good high end olives :)

I am really happy with the MagicSmith olives!
