The New York Coin Magic Seminar has become an institution since its debut seven years ago. And now, its BACK! On October 16-17 from its home at Marc DeSouza's Magic Theatre in King of Prussia Pa, outside of Philadelphia, Coin Seminar 8 is coming atcha once again. Hosted by David Roth, Dr. Michael Rubinstein, and Mike Gallo, the New York Coin Magic Seminar 8 is filled with the same elements that have made the previous seven seminars so popular! There are lectures, presentations, unpublished material and new ideas, workshops (the highlight of the older seminars), free giveaways worth over $100, a video tribute to Geoff Latta and some of the coin legends, special guests, and MORE! The attendees are welcome to stay for the video shoot the next day, and see even more great coin magic! And don't forget the famous Pizza lunch, and the get together after the seminar to hang and talk magic with the hosts and guests.
Over the years we have had some very special guests at our seminars, who have shared their special insights on various aspects of coin magic. this year will be no exception. The guest list will be made public shortly, but we are pleased to announce that one of our guests will be coming in from Marseilles, France, and the upcoming European Coin Magic Symposium. Jean Emmanuel Franzis is a very clever coin magician, who wowed the group at FFFF when he first appeared in the USA two years ago. This will be his second time on US soil, and he will be explaining some exciting coin magic straight from his brand new DVD!
The cost? As always, $250. You will soon be able to sign up on our website, so keep watching for details!! Many attendees have been to several of the prior seminars, and space is limited to the amount of seats in the theatre, so be sure to sign up soon!

This is a fantastic event. If you are even thinking about going don't hesitate and pull the trigger. If you are not thinking about going reconsider. It is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

Time to reveal the theme of our seminar! Every year we have had a theme, from Coins Across, to Copper silver, Productions, Vanishes, and Penetrations, Workers tricks, and More of everything! This year is no different. The theme of this year's seminar will be Methods, Performances, and Presentations. The focus will be on techniques, and the best way to present your material.
The BIG news, is that David Roth is going to present a routine NEVER PERFORMED in this hemishphere! It was only performed once, at the Tokyo New York Magic Symposium, back in the 80's. The Asian Act is chock full of new ideas and routines. This is an opportunity to see a truely historic event!
But there is so much more! Gallo and Myself are set to teach some exciting new coin magic, including a new twist on the coin bending plot, and a NEW plot for coin magic! We still will have the usual special guests, lectures, workshops, giveaways, and so much more! However, we expect this seminar to book up fast, and the spaces are limited to the seats in the theatre. Be sure to sign up soon at http://www.newyorkcoinmagic.net!

His comic style and great coin magic lends itself perfectly for our theme this year, on mthods, performances, and presentations! More news to come, but you can sit and read this, or run to http://www.newyorkcoinmagic.net and sign up soon, and reserve your spot before someone else takes it from you!!

Now, I am pleased to report both!! We are extremely excited to have as a lecturer at our next seminar, the one, the only, BOB FITCH!!!
Bob Fitch has worn many hats in his lengthy professional career (actor, director, magician, singer, dancer). He counts twenty-seven Broadway Shows, including, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with Whoopi Goldberg, and The Will Rogers Follies as Clem, Will's father. He received Broadway's Burns-Mantle Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his villainous portrayal of Rooster Hannigan in the original Annie, receiving a Carbonell Nomination for both direction and portrayal. Don't miss this special occasion to learn from the guy who has coached stars like David Copperfield, Jeff McBride, David Blaine, Steve Martin, and so many others!
