Just looking for some feedback to make my site better.

It looks like just a new landing page. When I click the buttons, it takes me to a different site. I'd start by making the look consistent within the site.

Best wishes!

Dave, your site is not directed to a target market. There should be something like, "David Lawerence want to entertain you at your next event! A magic show you will not forget!

Not enought pictures. Get some more pictures with spectators or prop.
Put the card castle picture on the home page.

Two observations I have:

1) I didn't think it has enough benefit-oriented copy on it.

2) I think that having multiple menus is a confusing approach (top, side, bottom).

Also, I agree that the landing page was unnecessary, because it didn't match the others.

Ok please keep in mind this is a site review / audit like I would give a client going through the key elements that I tell them all to do to increase traffic and overall conversion. I did leave a CHUNK of these out because I didn't want to spell out a strategy for David publicly for all to see (David feel free to call me 770 842 7467) but I listed all ITEMS to look at and reviewed them so everyone can THINK about their online presence..

THIS IS my CHECKLIST for giving out reviews to potential clients (and wouldn't mind a little feedback privately of what a few of you think about it)

Initial View
Page should be built with a 960 width
Call to Action (phone number) needs to be bolder to draw more attention
(it is above the fold (the invisible line that everything above can be seen above)
To increase Crawl Depth (how deep search engines LOOK)
A Sitemap should be added to the footer navigation

21 POINT review
6 On page Factors for Conversion and SEO
1. Website Title Tag (keyword targeted)
DLC Productions: Award-Winning Magic by David Lawrence ~ 1-412-BY-MAGIC
72 characters long (should be trimmed to 65)

2. Meta tags
Found and looking good
I did not count the description Tag to see how long it was

3. On page SEO - how well is their site optimized for the search engines?
Low On page factors
According to search engines your page is only relevant for
DLC Productions
date browser (totally NON relevant phrase but showing as relevant)

4. Are they capturing leads? (optin box for aurtoresponder)
No lead capture found (I like MailChimp)

5. Do they have a follow up system in place? (3-5 autoresponder messages)
Can be built inside of mailchimp

6. Are they using a tracking system?
Install Google Analytics, the stats your server gives you doesn't let you have the data needed to make educated changes to your site and sales copy.
