Since the search function is still not working, I was wondering if you guys can point me in the way of variations of the original. I just fell in love again with this trick and was looking for more info/routines with it.

Jim Steinmeyer has published several great variations. See The Great Silverware Scam in Further Impuzzibilities and Apples and Oranges in the July '99 issue of Magic.

Michael Weber's version with pairs of socks, 'Thoughts of Tom Jacobsen,' found in the book [i]Lifesavers.[/i] (I think that Derek Delgaudio performs this.)

Raj Madhok has a take on this oldie in the 'Talk About Tricks' DVD. His take, an [i]initialed[/i] business card travels from one packet to the other - a definite improvement.

It must have have been published in the Magic Magazine. Which issue Im afraid I don't know.
