Three Words...WOW...WOW...and..WOW!

I enjoyed the video tremendously. This opens a whole new world for both the ventriloquist and non-ventriloquist. I foresee a whole new entertaining act just waiting for the pickings out there.

Great Job Steve!

Wow is exactly right, These are great. Especially for the non vent magician that wants to add vent into there act....
Message: Posted by: axtell (Jan 23, 2011 02:37PM)
Thanks... several have turned these into a full business venture, not just a side kick in their magic show. Here are some pics.. http://www.axtell.com/remotecust.html

This is the 2nd Generation of these Hands-Free Character Systems...so many more features to mention. One thing that isn't clear from the video is that each system upgrades to the next one. EZ Live to Vent to Magic2 to Multi-character with MediaStar. Also with the vent system you get MotorMouth, and with the Magic2 you get Vent included.

This toucan is set up in a Baobab tree in a Children's Museum. It has a motion detector so it turns on the bird in "Auto-Alive" when a child walks near the tree, then a MagicTrax can be played to educate and entertain!

Hi Everyone.

The link to the clip is edited to give you an idea of how we are beginning to use Louie. We are using him for the first time this week at a festival in Southesstern Michigan. We're doing 9 shows over the week, so we thought it would be the perfect place to bring Louie to life. We put him out 10 minutes prior to the show. He's in auto alive for 5 minutes, and then he goes into a 5 minute countdown. The countdown has music (which Louie dances to) and funny announcements in between. It's incredible how Louie draws the crowd in, and how they react. I'll try to set up a camera from behind Louie this weekend, so you can see the crowds reactions to him. It really is magical. Thanks so much to everyone who voted for Austin in the Axtell Video Contest! And thank you, of course, to Steve and his entire team for creating these incredible works of art and entertainment!

A very exciting advancement I am very interested in the Ventriloquist package

Buzz, I have a hands free vent toucan, Taco, as I think you know. For Ventriloquists, this type of animatronic puppet is FANTASTIC! I can have him set up as Ken and Austin did, and Taco can be interacting with everyone as Louie is with me out of sight. Then he can introduce me and I can perform my regular vent routine with Taco.
I have done this a couple of times, and it is extremely funny when Taco is directly talking to particular people, and I'm not around.
You live close enough to Axtell Expressions you should visit Steve and the wonderful team he has.
This is something that is on my bucket list.

Thanks. These routines went over great at Magic Live. A show stopper.

The concept of having the characters do a "pre-show" like this is catching on! Many new owners including Rick Wilcox, Le Grande David & Cesario at Cabot Street Theater, etc.

Here is another Pre-Show Concept using just 2 Hands-Free Toucans as a comedy team.

Our new BEAST IN A BOX is shown in this FISM TV news Video! This particular monster is exclusive custom for magician Rob Gaffney in the UK, but we will have another Monster in our release version out soon. Cool publicity and it's the show stopper of FISM I'm hearing.

Looks great Steve! I know this is a custom Beast, but will the non animatronic version box be similar in size?

Yes the box will be the same, just the monster will be uniquely different.... here's a sneak peek:

What is the difference between the hand free lite and the twist a tronix ?
Message: Posted by: DutchFrank (Sep 18, 2012 06:02AM)
I understood there is no difference.

I believe there are more powerful servo motors used to move the latex puppets.

That's how the systems started out (at that time the Twist-a-tronix was lower in price as well).
But now there is no difference anymore, the Twist-a-Tronix have the same powerful servo's as the HF Lite. Prices are the same.
At least, that's what I make of it.

Maybe Steve Axtell can react with his final verdict :)
Message: Posted by: axtell (Sep 19, 2012 04:30AM)
That is correct. There is no difference now. It's Hands-Free Lite / Twist-a-Tronix. Ax
