Anyone here going to Super Sunday on June 12th?

Any news on the who is in the show and the lecturer? I have a bunch of stuff for the auction.

Losander and Kosco and great card and coin person

Never been before but will try to get there this summer...

Is it worthwhile? Feedback?

$35 certainly seems to be a fair price, but the performer/lecturer is always a mystery guest, right?

Misterjeffo,

Bob Little's is one of the worlds best one day conventions on the planet. 400 people gathered for an auction, a professional lecture, a full show, and a ton of sessioning, all for less than 50 bucks. You can't beat it.

And Costco will be there

I've been told that Costco has great prices.

Bob Little's Super Sunday if famous for having your great grand father lecturing, and booking Kozmo the street performer, busker is just the incentive I need to make plans to be at Super Sunday this coming June.

Way to go Mike Miller

Bob's is great. My favorite part about it is the sessioning. Have learned and seen a lot of great magic from the guys who go. Unfortunately, I've missed the last few, and will miss this one as well.

I will be on the road. Bummer. Kozmo is a super guy who publishes a super magazine. I loved the interview with Farquhar in the latest issue.

And he's ok at magic too... I guess. ;)

If you live within a two hour ride of Philadelphia, and you are undecided about going to another ho hum Super Sunday. I strongly suggest that you plan to attend the June 12 Super Sunday to see Kozmo's lecture.

OMG What if Dennis is right, and Kosco is the magician who will be lecturing on June 12th?

If not Kosco, what about K-Mar, the discount magician? Remember him from the old Letterman show?
Message: Posted by: Peter Pitchford (Mar 23, 2011 12:52PM)
Loved K-Mar. That was classic.
Message: Posted by: Kozmo (Mar 23, 2011 08:40PM)
Not lecturing

Costco

Kozmo
You mean that you will just be walking around pulling coins out of peoples ears ala Mickey Silver?
Message: Posted by: revmike (May 6, 2011 05:43PM)
I will be there this year - Took vacation because I have never been able to get down to the Auction.

I won't make it this June, but will be there in November!

Is there any special room rates at the Holiday Inn for Bob Little’s Super Sunday on June 12th?
Message: Posted by: Peter Cuddihy (May 31, 2011 06:56PM)
You can call the telephone number of the Holiday Inn where it is being held (215-638-1500) to find out.

Since it is a Holiday Inn, the rates should be favorable to begin with.

The Holiday Inn does not offer a special rate for Bob's Super Sunday. Standard rooms run $117 including all taxes. I wouldn't recommend eating in the hotel dining room and the bar is almost non existant but there are plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area.

I'm not sure if I'll make it this year. I'm starting a new job on the 13th and I don't know if I want to make the 2 hour trip late at night and then go to my first day at work. Guess I'm just getting old

I believe there is a Hooters within walking distance.
Message: Posted by: Al Angello (Jun 1, 2011 09:00AM)
Congrats
I am so glad that Dave Scribner has landed a job.

I just booked two birthday party on Super Sunday, so I won't see Costco perform, but I look forward to seeing Kosco perform soon.

Hooters is across the street. A mile or so down the road is a TGI Fridays, Applebee's, outback steak house and Carraba's italian grill to name a few.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. If you are undecided, come on out. It is always a great time.

I believe everyone had a great time at Bob Little’s Super Sunday. The auction had tons of great stuff including several very large illusions. Martini, the auctioneer, and the support team kept a rapid pace for 2 hours auctioning the items. Losander presented the lecture and the Dealers followed with some of the latest magic items. The evening show was great. Nineteen year old Matt Schick was the MC and did a super job keeping the show on track. Losander amazed everyone with his levitations. Calvin Tam from Florida had been practicing card and CD manipulations during the past year but he still has the flashes to overcome. New York street performer, Kozmo, gave a great comedy street magician routine that had the audience in belly laughs. Eric Wilzic, also from New York and also 19 years old, presented some impressive illusions on the small stage. Another fun time put together by Bob Little and Mike Miller.

MrBob102 - thanks for the kind words! Like usual, I had a blast at the convention and although I may be a bit biased, I think that the evening show was great, too! Looking forward to seeing everyone in November.
