So here is a question that has probably been asked and answered, and if so, I apologize.

What suggestions do you have about going about building a costume for yourself?

Also, I remember seeing a link to some great and strange golf jackets... anyone know where this might be?

Thanks for any suggestions and pointers!

Rebo used to do a golf routine. Check some back issues of the Linking Ring.(or if you have access to the historic collection do a search of the TLR on that topic.

Check out Tim Conways work on comedy golf.

Watch Golf, from Friday to Sunday...and it might trigger some ideas.

Looking for the Golf jackets, not tying it to Gold persay, but just the really strange and colorful jackets. :)

I got the material I wanted in a fabric shop (an orange cloth with cats playing fiddles, a blue and purple one with underwater scenes and fishes, and a dark blue one with stars and suns) and got a dress maker to knock me up three suits. It cost a bit, but I was unique.

Fantastic stuff on the golf site. I would love one of the jackets and matching shorts - that's my look!
