Topic: Suggestions for a good reel |
I'm looking for a good reel for rices flying bar silks and for silk thru mic stand. I tried to purchase the kirdendall reel as per suggesions from the Café, but unfortunately they are completely sold out. |

Did you check with Stevens Magic? |
You can also try Tannen's Magic. If Stevens is out of the Kirdendall reels, the Tannen's reel is almost as good. |

I have some rebullt Kirkendall reels if you are interested. Contact me via regular email. Richard |

I think I'd buy the reel from Richard. |

There are many reels on the market currently, just do a search for 'brass reel magic' or Daytona Magic has a number at many different prices. http://themagicwarehouse.com/SB6169/Brass-Reel.html http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/finger-reel-with-stop-mini-brass-umsi-p-6695.html This is made in India. http://www.daytonamagic.com/products/REEL-%252d-BRASS.html http://www.fabmagic.com/minifingerreel.html You will pay more in postage then for this reel. |

I wonder if they will still be made or the guy who took it over ran out of the parts George had assembled. Richard PS. David, send your reel to me. |
