Topic: So You Want To Steal My Tips?
Message: Posted by: Devious (Mar 18, 2012 07:56PM)
This fellow decided he needed some extra cash from my stash.
Not from this Marine, you don't!

I thought I'd share with you an incident, wherein the peace officers
chose to stand behind our efforts on the pitch! A true victory indeed!

I'm not a small guy, so I was able to hold this "Poindexter" down until
the bobby arrived. I wrapped him up in his own jacket.

p.s. He needed some medical attention as well.

Teehee.

It is a happy occasion when one is in the position to act as an agent of Karma.

Right on Devious!

Boom! Punk goes down for the count.

Good on you, bro. And good on the PD for backing you.

I'm so glad that Devious is okay and the punk not so much. Congrats on sticking up for yourself and your hard earned work. Too many people these days think that they can take anything they want without any consequence.

Now that is Justice of the first order...

I am old, and get chemo every other week. But let somebody try to dip in my hat, and I will go off on him like a fireworks on the fourth of July.

Not sure I can hold up as well as Devious, whom I commend and admire.

But if I have to get involved, there will be tears and blood. I just hope that my tears wash away my blood...

Good job.

It gives me great comfort to be able to share both successes and failures
with those of you here. Folks who understand the struggles on the pitch.
Thanks for the kind words gentlemen!

I LOVE when creeps pick on the wrong guy. That thief is truly a two time loser because he also missed out on meeting/interacting/getting to know one of the great people on this planet. His loss.

You are far too kind Mr Clarke.
Merci

Way to go, Marine!

With apologies to Major Lloyd W. Williams, 'Retreat from my pitch? Hell, I just got here.'

There was a guy taking she'd loads of photographs of a busker here in Adelaide. All from the back of the audience. Didn't come over and contribute or say thanks. As he walked off looking at all the pics on his EXPENSIVE camera he dropped it and the lens shattered.

Now that's more karma.

Anyone putting their hand in my hat to steal, better be prepared to lose it..

Great to see those that deserve it get it back...

Thanks for sharing

James

I'm assuming there's going to be court and stuff. Let us know how it goes.

Will do Ed!
I would have loved to see that camera drop James Vernon...what a laugher.."Kamera Karma".

Bill was one of the arresting officers who now drops in to check in on me
from time to time! I just wanted to share an example of one of the "good guys"

Okay, I would *not* want to face a p-o'ed Officer Bill.

You're no small fry, bro and he's like... dang!
Glad he's on our side!

Way to go Devil Dog. Glad you were not hurt and so happy to hear the PD had your back.

My son in law is in the Marines as well, so they have a place in my heart.

That's one big cop!
Say Devious, if you don't mind I (and I'm sure a lot of us in here) would appreciate a more detailed play-by-play of what of what happened. I mean HOW exactly did this schmo try to pull this off? Was he trying to be sneaky, or did he try the blatant in-your-face tough punk routine, hoping you'd wimp-back? Did he say anything?

I love seeing the pics of that idiot arrested!

Thank you Italia....things have settled down now that Comic-Con is here.
So many Superheroes around my pitch these days to watch for thieves.
