Topic: I want a bank

The European Central Bank (ECB) has left its key interest rate unchanged at 1%. Later today Mr Draghi is widely expected to announce an extension to banks' unlimited access to ECB loans. So bank stocks and shares may rise today perhaps. It would be nice to be able to have unlimited access to ECB loans at 1%.

Anyway I was wondering just how hard is it to own a bank?

Ha ha! Love it, Michael! :applause:

But seriously, that sounds stupidly cheap, tommy. I was thinking a couple months ago about what I would do if I won several million dollars in a lottery. I didn't realise that starting my own bank was such a realistic goal! :D

Tommy- very tough. Banks are an elite group and don't want much company.
