What are the names of all the forums dealing with Ventriloquism?

As far as forums go, this one is it (as far as I know).
After that, there's just these email lists on yahoo groups;
worldvents (for general vent topics)
ventfigures (for anything pertaining to vent figures)
ventmail (which is totally inactive, I would have deleted it as the comoderator, but only the owner can do that and he has passed away).

We have a fairly active forum on http://www.Learn-Ventriloquism.com - but as of right now it is members only. I'm toying with the idea of opening parts of it to the public.

Thanks guys.

Is the Magic Café the most popular?

See why I said "as far as I know"? I didn't even know about Tom's forum or Dan's yahoo group, and I forgot about the Axtell forum, and there is (or was?) another yahoo group called christianvents.

But in answer to your question, that might depend on who you ask.
I know there have been a couple other vent forum sites in the past that are gone now, so historically, it's been obvious that most preferred the email groups to forums.
Personally, I always wished one of the forums had caught on better, I prefer a forum to an email group, and I don't use latex puppets or need to learn ventriloquism, so for me, this one is my "most popular".

Yes, I created the time released course and own the site.

I haven't been on Axtell's forum in a long time - but I'm sure it is about more than using latex puppets. The learn-ventriloquism.com forum is about much more than just learning ventriloquism. The course has been used by beginners and a good number of professional vents to refresh and hone their skills. The forum has topics for all phases of the art. We discuss everything from the lessons to writing scripts, trunks and props to shows and comedy. Last month, one of our members wondered how different vents would interpret a script. He found a video to use as inspiration and members are starting to post their own video versions.

Out of all the people who go through the course, a small number participate on the forum, but they use it regularly. I'm proud of the fact it is a great group that is extremely supportive and helpful! (Just like here on the Café!)

If anyone is interested in seeing the forum, contact me by PM - I will provide you with a username and password that will get you in for a limited time.

Tom

"a limited time"? So your forum people have to pay for?, I'm guessing by signing up for the learn-ventriloquism site?
