I just watched the tape of Gary Kurtz performing it and it looks pretty good. I plan on making adjustments to suit my act, but my main focus is the Silver to Brass changes. This handling seems hard but I'm willing to work on it. Does anyone use this routine or the silver to Chinese coin changes? :spinningcoin:

Also, does anyone know where to get soft pretty Chinese coins?

In Gary's routine he uses dollar sized Chinese coins. The only ones even close to resembling Gary's that I have found that are still being currently made are at Elmwood magic. I think the ones that Gary used in the video are actually Johnson coins. (I may be wrong.)

I use half dollar sizes since I incorporate charming Chinese challenge later on. Though it would be better to use dollar sizes for bigger shows.

Have your dealer buy some from Murphy’s Magic Supplies. From what I see, they look dynamite. Here is a good link to a good site.

I hear they are expensive, though.

Yes, the dollar sized Chinese coins (the good ones) are not cheap.
