Topic: Lior on Jay Leno Show (Nov. 2012)

I guess you all missed his latest appearance (2 nights ago), as there's no topic on this...

*Different color socks - as per Jay & guest's shout-out of their fav. color.
*Magic Sqaure (same as in Tarbell & everywhere; including Marc Salem. I use it--great!)
Spectator's eye-glasses fly off palm of hand.

Close your eyes, and you'd swear Uri was talking.

Jay loves this guy, and Jay basically hates magicians, and RARELY (or never) has magis on his program.

Only thing tho---I'll bet not a single audience member or TV viewer can repeat what Lior's first & last name was, or pronounce it. That's a problem.

On his Leno appearances, there never seems to be any mentions of where Lior will be performing - for people to see him live, or a website, etc.

In short, he killed again.

I watched and I agree Lior was fantastic... he was introduced as a mindreader not a magician... big difference... Lior does not post his events but he does have a great web site...

I predict that you will see Lior in 9 days in Las Vegas at MINDvention...

Spot on. Love his energy.

I fear Taylor was struggling to keep up however.

I had a chat with Leno a couple of weeks ago and asked him why so few magicians on his show. He said he doesn't think magic works on TV, people think it is camera tricks. He personally likes close-up magic. Nathan Gibson was at an event where Jay happened to be and did some of his close-up for him, and Jay loved it.

I did a few tricks for Jay when I worked at the show, if we'd have some down time in rehearsal. He always did seem to appreciate it, but I understand where he's coming from.

Very cool stuff, loved the magic square effect. It stopped before the glasses effect though?
