I curious to see a few reviews as well. Looks good and is based on a solid workers effect already.

I'd love to review it...but I'm a little jaded.

It's my effect! Yes I know they misspelled my
last name! Working on fixing that.

If you have any questions about it feel free
to ask...straight up truth from me.

Thanks!

I had been working on something similar, beat me to it! I will deffenetly have to check this out, I got my original idea about using qoutes because at school they gave us these day planners to write down homework assignements and on the sides they had when the school sports teams were palying and some inspirational qoutes. I might still finish my little project sinse its a little more organic for me and given my age group a lot of my peers have seen one of these or reseived them in their schools in the last 4 years.

Check out the website and tell me what you think,
honestly about it. And as always if you have any

Hi. Is there a different quote for each date?
kj

Rather, I should say:

Is there a different quote on every day?
Message: Posted by: 1KJ (Feb 11, 2013 12:53AM)
Also, why are there two books? pls explain. thx.

I gave my permission to Fred to put this out, since the underlying method is based on my effect Chronologue. It's a very nice variation. But your question really can't be answered without discussing aspects of the method. The effect is as described on Fred's site and exactly as seen in the video.

Good thoughts,

Bob

Thank you Bob for answering that question in the best way possible!

I don't think I'm tipping the method when I tell you that only 1 book is ever seen by the spectators. If you need more information; purchase Mental Miracles with Bob Cassidy DVD. It has the original routine Chronologue as well as a number of other top quality mentalism routines.

Then you will understand the workings of it and can then decide if you'd like my version with the quote book.

Thank you for your input. I have the effect "Quote Me" by Max Krause, and I just love the concept of working with quotes and handing out quotes.

I'm not trying to push for a method. Let me try this question: Can you use a different quote for different performances? If you can't answer without giving away any secrets, I understand. I'm just trying to figure out if this is an effect I would want to do, in addition to "Quote Me".

Thanks.

Impossible to respond meaningfully without getting into method, because the answer is "Yes and no, you might get the same quotes, you might not."

That said, neither my diary routine or Fred's variant are really intended to be used regularly before the same group of people.

Thank you Bob.

I ordered this and received it the other day. It is really nice. It is very different from Max Krause's "Quote Me". After seeing both, I really would suggest purchasing both. I think they are a good compliment to each other and owning both gives you a good way to do a similar effect to satisfy a need to "repeat" the effect.

1KJ,

YOUR the one that ordered it!

Can't say these have been flying off the shelf, but a positive review like the one you just gave can't do anything but help! Thanks so much and enjoy Quote A Log.

I purchased this recently and it looks good. I will report back as soon as I've used it in a show.

Would you consider re-doing the book? cos I think that it lets the rest of it down from what I can see in the demo... would I be right in thinking that the innards of the book was done in a table, in something like Word?
Message: Posted by: Slim King (Apr 13, 2013 01:20PM)
Iain. I've sent Fred some suggestions. Perhaps you could too ... There are quite a few innovations that would move this from a mental magic effect to a solid mind reading one.
Message: Posted by: IAIN (Apr 13, 2013 03:34PM)
I don't have it, Slim... was just commenting that it doesn't really look much like a real quotes-based book really.. it looks kinda home-made...(not meant to insult the creator - its just I'm from a design background and trying to help)...

I just got a copy of this effect. While the book looks a little bit cheesey, I can imagine seeing this type of book in a drug store or airport magazine shop. With the advent of self publishing and companies like Lulu this type of self designed book is more common.
