The convention is just around the corner and with the addition of the mini film fest, the André Kole presentation and Lane Burton Teen event, I am getting pretty excited. Curious who from the Café is going and if we could make a late might Café session at the convention. Any takers... it would be like the Café live.. without the flaming! ;-)

Exciting news! The 2013 I.B.M. convention has gone mobile! The convention schedule is available for your phone or tablet to carry with you. Why carry around the paper schedule when you can have that and more at your fingertips on a device you are already carrying? The electronic guide includes photos, details, hot links, and more! And as times, talent and events are changed at the last minute, you will receive notice of all updates immediately. The hard copy of the schedule cannot do that!

All of this was prepared by and compliments of The Magic Word ( http://TheMagicWordPodcast.com/ ) We will be podcasting daily updates from the convention so even if you cannot be there, you will be able to listen to what just happened within the last 24 hours. It's the next best thing to being there!

You can download the free app at: http://guidebook.com/g/IBM2013/

See you in Phoenix!

Scott -

FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do this. I have been planning to search out the available apps for this and just have not had a chance to do it. This is a wonderful tool for those at the convention. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. Thanks again ...

You are welcome, cuz. :wavey: This really worked out well. I only wish more people would have known about it. Everyone I showed was "wowed" by it and wanted to know how to get it. Perhaps next year there can be more publicity about it. People will be able to load it before they ever even arrive at the convention. I have already begun putting together the Guidebook for the joint convention.

For those who missed the convention, you can listen to daily updates from the convention floor and back stage areas with great interviews and chats with many of the performers, organizers and registrants. For those who attended, then you will enjoy hearing what you missed plus re-living some memories of this great convention.

Hello to all! I thought this might be the appropriate place for me to express my sincere thanks to Oscar Munoz, and, all officials at the I.B.M. for according me the honor of producing an award wand and stand, which, was presented to, now Past President, John Pye at this years convention. Congratulations to him for a productive, successful year as our I.B.M. President. A photo of Mr. Pye with his wand and stand can be seen here by scrolling to the bottom of the page:

Also, I too would like to thank Scott Wells for the wonderful podcast. It was a great aid to those of us who could not attend, and, wanted to keep up with the activities...very well done sir!
