Recouping from a vasectomy procedure yesterday. Doc says no smithing for a week. I asked if I could lift things with my nipples, heh heh... Years ago, my wife got me a T-shirt that I wore to the procedure.. it says "I shaved my balls for THIS?"... anyways, felt like sharing.

Well, I got a hearty laugh out of the shirt. I'm sure the staff did, too.

I'm sure you've gotten the spiel already, but remember: supportive clothing and ice ice ice.

You forgot, drugs drugs drugs. I don't really like painkillers though.

I seem to recall you eschewing them in the past... Nothing wrong with not using them as long as you can keep your pain under control somehow.

Can I ask what they prescribed you for pain? I've never worked with someone after a vasectomy before, so I don't know the med of choice.

Run of the mill Percocet 5mg. Ehh. When I had my accident, they were giving me 8 a day in the hospital! I started hoarding them because I hated taking them. Then the Gretchen nurse would come in and watch me take them. Ugh. Basically when all the junk is settled, I'm fine. Get up and the junk will shift, then it's a dull ache. I have gone through WAY worse pain compared to this. After 3 months, all the little wigglys should be out of the ductwork. Then I'm shootin blanks! Yeehaw!

D you know I misread that .... I had to check it three times! It's me I'm sure, but when I read it, it seemed like you were saying you have the "snip the Nipp" operation 3 years ago.

So 3 month before your swimmer free ....... Question is .....are you going to feel like (not) using them in 3 months time?

I have a great story from my specialist .... It's not a story for tea time though!
